Crowne Plaza Cleveland Airport by IHG

Completely unacceptable experience at the Crowne Plaza Akron. I’ve been waiting over 40 minutes for the shuttle in 40° weather, and the lack of communication or accountability is astonishing. We’ve relied on countless hotel shuttles in the past — airports, resorts, events — and never once experienced this level of disorganization. No updates, no urgency, no apology — just silence while guests are left standing outside. For a property that claims to prioritize service, this was a complete failure from top to bottom. If this is the standard for transportation and guest care, it’s hard to recommend this hotel to anyone expecting even basic professionalism.

We were given a key to a room that was already occupied and we walked in when the other guest was in the shower. And elevators were not working and our room was on the 4th floor. I will never stay at this hotel again. Breakfast was mediocre.

The room was okay. It was clean but my room was also on the 4th floor and the elevators all three went was non-functioning so everybody had to use the stairs. They did not post any signs stating that the elevators was not working. Horrible communication with there customers. Also, the staff did not feel any urgency in calling to get the elevators fixed.

Staff was nice. Hotel was dirty - hair in shower, rusted shower poles, elevator had only one working, toilet paper holder was broken, no sink stopper in bathroom sink, dirt and dust in all of the corners, peeling paint, etc

The hotel is very tired. Under renovations. Dan who helped with our bags was amazing. Front desk rude and not helpful at all. Would not recommend to stay here. Rooms were not particularly clean. Definitely needs a good renovation all the way around.

Not sure of renovation timeline, or what is being renovated. But, it’s time. Strange speckles on the wall.

We only stayed one night for a early flight. No wake up call ,so set your phone alarm. 24 hr shuttle was a plus. The room was fine, its not the Four seasons but it was clean and great for one night. The bar/ restaurant is a plus !

Nothing. Needs a total remodel.

It's a worn hotel. Keys didn't work and had to go down and get new keys. Once I got into the room the toilet was full of poop and toilet paper and it would not flush. Got another room and it was ok. Nothing to really brag about. Then into the evening one of the workers tried entering the room. Thank God I had both locks on the door. Won't be staying at your facility anymore.

No water 6 hours one day no notice,no water 4 hours next day no notice would not have stayed if there was a notice and manager called me a F.... ahole that people in the lobby heard.My wife got the stomach flu and would not have stayed there had we known you couldn't flush a toilet for 2 days and would not answer if there would be water the next day following 3 hours in the emergency room.Left early having prepaid the third day feeling we would be safer somewhere else .Thank God for Residence Inn recommended by another couple also leaving early Avoid,Avoid.....
