Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade

My hotel room smelled terrible. At first, I thought someone had smoked in the room, but I think it just smelled like really old, dirty carpet. It was a foul, musty smell. The air vent was full of dust and debris too. My room was around the corner from the elevators and there was a pill or tic tack on the floor that remained there all week. It was obvious no one ever vacuums the floors. That explains the smell of the room too. My roommate and I also found many housekeeping habits strange. One day, one bed was made up and the other was left unmade/messy. They took some of the towels and left others at random. They also took our bath mat towel and never replaced it. The trash was not taken out of the trash cans in the room, and we had only one small roll of toilet paper and were running out for the last 2 days we were there. They didn't replace it or leave us a spare. The last day, we left the nearly empty roll on the counter to show them how little we had left. Thankfully, they gave us a new roll. I just was not impressed at all. I have stayed at the Marriott and the Westin right there in that area in the past and I will be returning to those in the future. Comparatively, the rooms and the service were much better elsewhere.

The hotel design is nice but staying when they have weddings everyday of your stay was not a good experience because they block off every convenient way to get to your room. Like people guarding pathways to your access and making you take long routes. Also parking is expensive. Although I used points to book my room, my parking bill was still almost $200 for 3 nights. Not including tips to valet. It is located in a great location however.

Everything was fine, except: the bathtb had a concave and slippery bottom. I had to be very careful taking a shower. This is a definite fall risk in my opinion.

I had been here a couple times before. However, I still appreciate how well this hotel is run, how clean everything is, and how beautiful the structure is. The staff are always willing to help, when needed. This is the only hotel I ever book when in Cleveland, and that will always be the case unless it is sold out. I love my stays here.

My wife and I, with family in tow, recently spent a few days at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade, and it was one of the most unique hotel experiences we've had in years. The hotel is built inside the historic Arcade, and from the moment you walk in, you're transported back to another era. The soaring glass ceiling and ironwork create a true Great Gatsby vibe. Elegant and nostalgic. It's easy to imagine what this place must have looked like during its heyday, and the hotel has done a wonderful job preserving that character. Our room was awesome and well-appointed, but the real attraction is the building itself. We found ourselves stopping several times just to admire the ironwork or stunning interior. Whether you're a history lover, architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for something different from a standard hotel stay, this property delivers. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in downtown Cleveland. Restaurants, bars, baseball and football, the waterfront and let's not forget, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This hotel made exploring the city easy and enjoyable without needing a car. What surprised us most was how much fun Cleveland was for a long weekend. I thought for sure, this would be a "one and done" for me but between the clean downtown area, friendly people, great dining options, and the unique experience of staying inside a historic landmark, the trip exceeded our expectations. We never even made it to the theater district so there will be a next time for us for sure. If you're visiting Cleveland, I highly recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency at The Arcade. It combines history, character, and convenience in a way that few hotels can match.

We love visiting 4th Street in Cleveland for our anniversary and this year decided to stay as close as possible which is the Hyatt Regency Arcade. Yes there were 2 weddings, but the hotel sent an email a week in advance to suggest requesting a quiet floor, which we had already added as a note to our reservation based on other Trip Advisor reviews. We booked a King Bed City View and they put us in the South Tower on the 8th floor overlooking 4th Street which was amazing! Kelly at the front desk was very gracious and accommodating! We did not hear any wedding noise the entire time. We did early checkin and visited the aquarium until our room was ready. Even though there was a wedding taking place, we were still able to take the South Tower elevators to the ground level and walk out onto 4th street with only a 5 minute walk to our dinner reservation at Pickwick and Frolic. We gladly paid for the convenience of valet parking and were so glad we did. It was great to just get out of our car and walk in when we first arrived, and also to have our car pulled up out front for us when we were ready to leave, because the streets can be confusing in this area (our Google navigation was often lagging and didn't know where we were at). As we were leaving we noticed there is a Radio Museum in the Arcade open on Fridays and Saturdays 11am - 4pm which we will try to visit next time. I book this hotel every trip to Cleveland. The hotel is great but the customer service from a lady named Eunice is the reason I’ll never book somewhere else. As long as she’s there and her exceptional service is there, this hotel has my business
