Holiday Inn Express Dandridge by IHG

The lady working the front desk July 16th, 2022 evening/night shift came to the pool and announced to our group "the pool closes at 10pm and I need you to clear the area." That wasn't the issue because we left when she asked. There was a couple out there that didn't leave. When I advised her that there were two more people out there she went out and came back saying "they were actually in the pool and they're drying off", its now 10:20pm. I peeked out at the pool and they were sitting at the table drinking. I said something to her again at 10:30pm and she went back out. I heard her tell them "I'm sorry but" and she started whispering so that I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation. Also, when we first arrived she immediately closed the breakfast area so that we couldn't sit in there. When we came in from the pool she had it open for a group of people to play cards. I asked if we could sit in there she said "no we have quiet hours from 10pm to 6am I'm about to ask them to leave" this was after 10pm. She wasn't going to ask them to leave if I hadn't said anything to her. We didn't any issues with the rest of the staff.

It was ok

If I could leave a negative star I would. We woke up eat up from head to toe with bed bug bites. Had to go to the ER. The bites gave us a staph infection. I told the general manager. She could care less. She wouldn't fill out a report and has yet to call me back! The night shift lady was just as rude when I asked when the manager would contact me. This is beyond a terrible experience!! Found dried blood stains on the sheets. STAY AWAY!!

Property was run down for being a Holiday Inn Express. It had a musty smell and could have been cleaner. It was o.k. for one night but wouldn't choose it again.

Very clean comfortable room

Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. Hotel and room was clean. Breakfast and coffee was great. We enjoyed our stay!

It was nice, we weren't really there all that long...

I had booked 3 rooms thru Expedia with pay when I got to the hotel. I gave the girl at the counter my paperwork with our itinerary number and showing for 3 rooms. She only found my room 324 not my daughters or mothers. She told me they only had 1 remaining room so I took it either 223 or 225 also putting it in my name. I had my brother run to the hotel next door to see if they had anything available and thankfully they did. I was billed $326 for the 2 nights for room 324 and $312 for the 225 or 223 room. When my credit card bill came in November I also was charged $202 and $185. I disputed. I received a letter from my credit card company February 18th. I called my card company because I didn’t understand why I lost. I told her the papers I got were not legible. She told me it states it was a “no show” charge. I told her we were all there and they did not locate the other 2 rooms and placed me in another room. I called the hotel and got Betsey the GM. I explained we were there. Look and you will see you gave us another room. She stated Expedia has a no change/cancellation policy. I said I didn’t change nor cancel. You desk did not locate the other 2 rooms in any of the names I provided. We booked 3 rooms but were only given 2. She again repeated the policy. No I was getting mad due to the lack of her listening or caring about the guests and even looking into that they were in the wrong. I have found this is not the 1st time this practice has been done at this hotel. Before you book this place look into previous reviews of bogus charges including the no show.

I had 3 rooms booked and when we arrived was told only 1 room was available. They had a smaller room which I took and paid for. Moved my mom to the red roof in next door due to no room for here. When my bill came they charged me for the other 2 rooms as no shows. When I called the hotel the manager was not helpful and refused to verify we were all there with the girl at the desk. So place is nice but if you want to be ripped off of $388 then this is the place for you.

This place is horrible. After I got home I received a $150 charge for smoking in my room but I’ve never smoked in my room when I called to try to talk to them about it they were rude and hung up on me even though people working there saw me go outside to smoke they proceeded to tell me they had reports and complaints of me smoking in my room all week yet no one ever said anything to me that week fact is I never smoked in the room and they tried to take it vantage of my company to gain extra money thinking it wouldn’t get back to me
