Red Roof Inn Columbus Northeast Westerville

Room is ok for overnight stay to sleep and shower. Had holes in bath towels and found a pair of false eyelashes attached to clean washcloth. Beds were comfy but one bed had food crusted on sheets.

Could use alot of fixing

we are not hard to please customers--we ask for cleanliness--that's it BUT--The room was filthy. We stayed for a concert in town. We checked in hurriedly and didn't properly inspect the room (big mistake--won't happen again) until we got back to the room late that night and if it had not been for the late hour and a long way to travel back home we would have left! The floor was sticky and nasty as was the table we literally had to clean the table before we could even eat a snack. I opened the fridge to put our drinks in and it was not even working! Old (looked like butter packets in the fridge and it had not been on in a while because of the smell and the fridge was covered in mold! The microwave was dirty, the hair dryer did not work, black electrical tape holding up sink counter, and bath tube faucet leaking and there was a dead roach in the tub. I do have pics, the electrical outlets to charge the phone did not work. The room was $70--which is a good price for a decent room but this was NOT! Highly dissatisfied--would never stay there. Sadly, this room would keep me from ever staying with a Red Roof Inn again

Hotel room was very dirty, dog hair on floor, sheets were stained and the shower was disgusting. Someone shaved in there and it wasn't cleaned. Do not stay here

Not a great experience! The sheets were stained and dirty no pillow cases pillows were dirty the tub was dirty the bathroom door had animal scratches red paint splatters on the lamp shade the tv was inatalled crooked and no extra toilet paper! The neighbors next door were so loud! The bed was really uncomfortable! Also my kept failing i had to get a new key everytime i tried to open the door! I did not call the front desk becuase ive seen reviews like mine and the people who run this place dont fix anything so why bother thats why i rather write a review!

The room was really quite filthy. The floors, walls had hair various splashes of what could be food to human dna. Sheets were disgusting. There were many different hairs and what appeared to be yellow nasal discharge on the mattress pad. The cleaning personnel, although friendly, uses the mop as their cane, leaning on it the concrete between rooms. There was no bucket of cleaner….just a mop that went from room to room? Nasty… Seemed like most guests were there for work so it was very quiet which was nice. Front desk and cleaning attendants were friendly.

The hotel itself was fine, some minor issues but normally expected for a budget stay.

I was charged twice! I pre-paid for this booking then was charged again when I arrived. I asked for a receipt several times so I could raise this with booking.com but I still haven't been sent one. Edited addition: I have noticed that I have had a response - to be clear I had made several attempts to request a receipt from the hotel so that I could dispute this issue with booking.com. I am unable to raise this issue without proof of the fact I had made a purchase. I requested a receipt of my payment (which I had to do on site) by phone call, email and through booking.com communications and I have been ignored. If you could please send me a receipt then I will gladly remove this review, thanks.

Absolute WORST place EVER!! It may be “cheap,”but do yourself a favor and find another place to stay, cheap is not always better! The RUDEST manager and front desk people I have ever met in my life. I made a reservation, ended up NOT staying after NOT ONE, but TWO FILTHY ROOMS!! First room, the bedsheets were folded down like someone was in the bed, had stains, lights on, bugs/dirt etc. Second room had hair on the “clean” bedsheets, something in the toilet. I simply asked for my money back that day, still nothing after a week. Multiple calls, me calling them bc they wouldn’t call back… simply asking for a receipt emailed to me to just prove that they sent the refund and I continued to get hung up on, lied to, promised calls back from the manager and NOTHING!!! Went up on a weekend to ask in person, was rudely told by the manager “why would you even come here on a weekend, I’m not there and no one can get you that information for you and I’m certainly not coming to do that today.” Then the front desk girl, lied stating it was sent on Wednesday (the Wednesday before I went up on the weekend.) Again, I was just wanting an email confirmation of the refund, asked multiple times still nothing. Called on Monday (I will admit I was fuming by this day bc of the disrespect, rudeness, incompetencey etc.) Now at day 10 of nothing, no refund, no money NOTHING. Was hung up multiple times, again just asking for a simple email of proof they sent it, again was told it was sent on Wednesday. After about the 5th hang up, I called corporate, explained the situation and GUESS WHAT?! They didn’t send it Wednesday it was sent THAT DAY!!! Sooo let’s see if I even get it back bc day 10 and I’m still waiting. Horrible place, rude people and NOT WORTH IT!!! It is obvious they are crooks!!! So do yourself a favor DO NOT GO TO THIS PIECE OF CRAP PLACE!!
