Red Roof Inn Columbus Northeast Westerville

My son and I were in Westerville for a College Football Combine. We were awoken at 5:00 am by the sound of running water pouring into our bathroom through the light fixture from the room above us. Maintenance came to the room. My son didn't get nearly enough sleep, which negatively impacted his performance at the camp that I paid over $400 for, plus equipment, and I demand a refund immediately. The rude and inconsiderate desk clerk told me "well, you slept in the beds, the room above you leaks". This is beyond disgraceful. You should be ashamed of treating people like this. I fully expect my money to be refunded, plus an additional stipend for the damage you did to my son.

The beds were super dirty, with dirt and stains and hair. The room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom sink was being held up by a two by hour and while in the room for the 5 minutes a flea jumped on my hand. I immediately asked for a refund. We will see if I get my money back. Definitely did not meet the expectations that were portrayed online. Luckily we could get a hotel room at a super nice place across the street.

Worst customer service and hotel experience I’ve ever had! If I could give negative stars, this location would get it. Not only once but twice in one weekend this establishment did not honor my reservation. They gave our rooms away both nights. We drove 13 hours from Massachusetts expecting to finally get a good nights sleep. Upon our arrival at 1:00 am we were told there was no rooms available. We proceeded to drive around Columbus looking for a place to stay…after 3 hours of looking nobody had a vacancy (outdoor hockey game and the Arnold expo that weekend). We drove back to the red roof inn and begged and tipped the gentleman behind the desk $20 for a room and lo and behold he found one?! The following night the same thing happened when we went back…our room was no longer available. After arguing with Sahi at the front desk, they conveniently found us a room. We contacted management (Pahi and Paul) and they could’ve cared less on how we were treated. We also contacted customer relations and they were just a useless. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT STAY HERE OR AT ANY OTHER RED ROOF INN!

Close to the highway

The door didn't lock. Staff didnt seem to think that was a problem. There were wine stains on the sheets and wall, neither had been cleaned. I should have left but I was so exhausted. I didn't bring anything inside. Slept in my clothes and almost left them behind. Nothing had been cleaned for many guests. Also, the door didn't lock. Just wanted to make that clear. Was not going to leave a review, but I got a request to do so by email, so, they literally asked for it. No, you could not pay me to stay at another Red Roof.

When we got there, they gave our reservation to someone else, and said there was nothing we could do about it. Absolutely terrible experience!

When they gave our rooms away they said it wasn’t their problem. And hung up.
