The room was nice, it was a good size and clean. The complimentary coffee and breakfast was really nice. My husband liked the fitness center. The location of the hotel was very convenient since it's right by route 95 and 64.

The finishes were nice, but some of the renovations weren't quite complete. The shower surround was falling off the wall, and the bathroom door strike plate wasn't installed so we couldn't close and lock it properly and the door hit on the floor. The reading lights on the beds weren't working. Plus adding an amenity or two, like a ping pong table, or shuffle board, or corn hole would make the stay more enjoyable. The pool was a little too cold to swim in.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ms Walker at the breakfast bar was beyond amazing!

Everything was okay. Coffee was good. Breakfast smelled good. I wasn't able to grab breakfast.

I needed tissue paper, it ran out fast, only had two pieces before it was out. Had to use toilet paper. Also I couldn't get the tv remote to work besides the on/off button

My room was booked through the app, I received a confirmation number and checked in online through the app. At 6 pm (after I already checked in), I received a call that my room had been canceled because they overbooked. This is such bad business. It’s now 7:30 pm, and I’m scrambling for a room. Why would I ever choose to book a room with this Marriott again? I’m a loyal Marriott member and book SEVERAL blocks a year for travel teams but will rethink my options in the future. Very disappointing.

Comfortable bed

The primary reason I booked this hotel was the indoor pool for my grandson’s 16th birthday trip. I specifically contacted the property multiple times in advance to confirm that the pool was open and operational, including the day before arrival. Staff repeatedly assured me that the pool was “up and running” with no issues. Upon arrival, the pool was closed due to maintenance, with a sign posted on the door. This closure was not disclosed to me before arrival and was not indicated on the hotel’s website at the time of booking or check-in. I also booked an accessible suite with a walk-in shower. The emergency phone in the accessible bathroom did not work at all (no dial tone, no sound). I reported this safety issue to hotel staff, and it was not addressed during my stay. Once I discovered that the pool was closed for longer than originally indicated and that the hotel could not provide what was promised, I had to leave the property and book another hotel at additional expense.

What I am seeking are the unused days totalling $776.32 that were not at the Springhill Hotel. I checked in on November 8, 2025, and checked out on November 10, 2025.
