Super 8 by Wyndham Ridgecrest

I understand the property was newly purchased and currently going thru improvements. The staff was helpful and friendly. Honestly for the price it was not that great.

This is a very tired property in need of a significant remodel in all areas. The staff was very friendly but the registration took way longer than the norm these days, and our two room keys both failed to work the second day, requiring a visit to the office. Seemingly their systems are not up to the task? So my service rating was only middle. The room felt dirty and smelled of deteriorating plastics, carpet and fabrics over decades of use. The bathtub had decades of water staining. Little paint splatters everywhere from touch up had been sloppily done. Litter in surrounding parking lot and area. Non functioning vending machines. Towels that I would only use for shop rags.

Owner or manager, whoever he was is a complete jerk. he needs people skills

Room was cozy. The restrooms were a tad too small although good to use.

It was a good place the guy who check us in and out was very nice place was clean

It was very average Hotel. No breakfast even after writing free breakfast. Place was too shaddy and scary.

Bathroom door was broken and falling off hinge when tried to shut. Toilet wouldn't quit running you'd have to shake the handle until it stop. Bed sheets and pillow cases were stained/dirty.

This place was fine. Provided a bed and shower when needed but that’s about it. Super outdated. Floors/ground outside were dirty and it smelled of pot basically the entire time. Mostly outdated within the rooms. Very noisy road noise and wind throughout the night.

I've stayed in Super 8 locations before which have been just fine. But this one had just undergone a change in ownership (so I was told). While the staff was apologetic, my room key didn't work; ended up leaving so they could figure it out while I was gone to dinner. Finally got in my UNcleaned room 3 hrs later. Had to be moved to a different room. Smelled of cigarette smoke. The only saving grace was that I was able to leave my truck parked overnight the following day for a motorcycle trip I went on.

The place was so dirty that we had to cancel it and find another hotel to spend the night
