There was black mold at the front desk. To use the elevators you had to go to an older section, with no AC in the halls, and smelled like mold. The halls and my room was clean and I didn’t smell the mold in there. The weed were grow up around the building, I thought at first it was closed.

The elevator was filthy as were the floors. The only ice machine was on the 6th floor and I was on the 4th. The “breakfast” was cereal, apples and a yogurt cup. There was only powdered creamer.

Worst accommodation ever. Room was not clean and AC was not working. It says dinning included but there was no proper breakfast

I like the location and easy access to both Kings Island and the downtown areas along with a short drive to restaurants, other attractions, and grocery stores. The front desk people were polite but seemed to be the only staff on site. I had to pay at check in and i think i would not have stayed and changed hotels if i had not payed up front. The place seemed to be a ghost town, only a handful of cars in parking. I did not see any cleaning staff. The pool was ok and a needed respite in the heat feom the days but there were piles of garbage in all the corners by the pool. I had to ask for fresh towels every day including for the pool. The building was run down with obvious ceiling leaks in places, dirty walls, cracks in walls. The beds were ok comfort, we slept well enough. The "continental breakfast" was just crappy stale coffee, stale cereal, and questionable milk. Continental breakfasts usually have other fresh options so that was disappointing. There was no room fridge to bring back fresh options to keep to snack on so we HAD to go out for food every time. We spent as little time as possible there. If i knew how this place actually was and not the dressed up photos, i would not have stayed here.

The sofa bed didn't have a blanket or pillow. Was told everything is inside the sofa bed. Well it was not!!! Also tub did not drain. Seems to me if it was properly cleaned housekeeping would have reported the situation.

The hotel is tropical on the inside. The pool is nice, but the heat and humidity radiate throughout the hotel. The room we were assigned had no air conditioning. Did not stay.

The description didn’t match the property. Thought it was a vibrant and well maintained property. It isn’t I’ll bet there hasn’t been a convention in 10 years Desk man was excellent and tried and succeeded in getting us fridge microwave,soap. He had to find another room since when we opened door the beds weren’t made. Then the keys wouldn’t work on second room Property very run down. While a sign in parking lot says there was a restaurant and bar there are neither Breakfast also subpar. This is second time in a month the Expedia description was far from reality

Breakfast options were limited. Staff was not around when we came in at night.

It was close access to kings island only about 15 minutes down the road.

Our room was up on the 6th floor. The elevator would feel like your falling when you step onto it and you never know what floor you were going to. The room door was falling off the hinges so you had to pretty much body slam yourself into it just to get it open.
