Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa

Lovely room and lots of secure parking for vehicles. Quality of room was excellent. The only minor issues we saw were that the shower shelf was missing (no where to place your shampoo/soap) , the head board of the bed was too hard (wood) and we needed two pillows each (only had one). Other than the above minor issues, we had a lovely stay and the room was very comfortable.

We had a fabulous 1 night stay. Welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast tasty and WiFi good. Spa facilities were nice. The few sun loungers in the spa were occupied and there wasn’t anywhere for us to sit/lie but this didn’t stop us enjoying the pool or jacuzzi etc. It’s so easy to reach Cambridge city centre from the hotel. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the bus stop. We found the buses to run frequently too. Would happily stay again and recommend.

My Mum, Sister and Me had a lovely stay at the Cambridge Belfry for my mums birthday.. We were very lucky to be given a complementary room upgrade to a penthouse room. Included in our stay we all had an excellent 50min treatment in the spa. The evening meal was delicious and so was the breakfast. All the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. We felt the price was very reasonable and we will defiantly be back for another visit.

Lovely hotel and facilities. Only issue was a constant dripping shower and no switch to turn heating on in the room.

Spa and pool area are in need of updating. Suite was lovely but was freezing. Breakfast was poor on both days. Staff lovely

We stayed here for 3 nights for a long weekend whilst visiting Cambridge. Location is great. The hotel itself it average at best. We ate in the bar the first night, ordered a Mushroom and spinach pizza, the waitress brought it and said “sorry we’ve got no spinach” - not a big deal, but tell us upon ordering? I also ordered a pot of tea, they had no milk jugs so was served milk in an espresso cup, which split when pouring the milk. The room, although clean, lacked attention to detail. Lightbulbs out, the wardrobe door banged into the door closer each time you opened it, unable to put any heating on. There was a fridge in the room which was great, although it didn’t work and was a bit smelly. We asked about this at reception to be “oh we are in the process of removing all the fridges, so if you have one in your room it won’t work” - does it really take that long to remove fridges? We had a spa treatment each, which was just ok. The towel and robes felt damp, the relaxation room smelt and felt grubby, as did the changing rooms and showers. The pool is small and cold and again felt grubby. Sunday night after a long day, we decided to order room service, which is advertised as served daily till 10pm. Took 10 minutes before anyone answered the phone, to be told “we are not doing room service today, you just need to come down to the bar” Breakfast - chaotic. Had to ask for cutlery, sugar, bowls, and again no milk jugs. Staff were ok, not particularly friendly or welcoming. Real shame as good be a great hotel.

Had a couple of wonderful treatments by Yolanda. These treatments were amazing, conducted with the right pressure and in a very professional manner. I have walking and balance disabilities ( Multiple Sclerosis) her care and attention we amazing and I couldn't feel any more relaxed
