Days Inn by Wyndham Pottstown

I walked into a warm, clean room. The flooring looked new. The king-size bed had a good mattress and at least six pillows of varying softness. When the hotel description says a “light breakfast” is included, I’d call that accurate. My preference is to have cooked options, and if it’s healthy, that’s best. I’ll say the coffee tasted great. I chose a banana and apple and a basic Walmart yogurt my first morning. On the second day, the lobby wasn’t open on time, so I left without breakfast and left my key cards in the room.

We just had a stay at the Days Inn Pottstown, PA and found it to be typical Days Inn. It wasn't one of the franchisees shining stars, but was decent. However, be forewarned that the owners just signed a lease on 60 rooms to house the homeless. It certainly is a quick money grab, so not sure if the general paying public really wants to pay to stay in a homeless shelter.

The first room I was offeed was uncleaned with an inadequate bed and whisker from shaving in the sink and smelled of weed. The second room was cleaner but smelled strongly of weed as well. The light sconces were crooked, paint on the walls near the door and over the door was peeling and stink bugs were crawling around on the ceilin. I left before the night was done around 11 and just got an other room somewhere else.

Not a great experience actually was supposed to stay 2 nights only stayed 1 and went somewhere else. Was very unsafe, remote didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work as well as a lot of outlets didn’t work and there was a hornet nest in the curtains.
