Walking distance to the train station to the airport. Easy access to restaurants and a mall.

Breakfast is acceptable and ok, but the rooms are terrible. Our group reserved 7 rooms and all are bad !!!! We definitely won’t use this hotel again. 😔 pt from Texas

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff

Tired hotel, bathroom facilities especially and not particularly clean.

Great location. Great salt water pool. Beautiful building, attentive and polite staff. Of the minuses: the rooms facing the street are very noisy, the traffic there is very dense, so it will not be easy to sleep. Restaurant prices are quite high for this city. Normal Wi-Fi.

The location was great. The breakfast was OK. Complants were handled fast. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Communication was easy.

Took 2 rooms, the 8 floor room was good, the 4th floor room was super below standard... So run down, old with dirty walls. Was not happy with the room at all. The room smells like cigarette smoke. When complain the house keeping came with a air refresher spray after spray OK but after dinner when we came in the room it smells cigarettes again. Aircon was not cold at all, complaint to the front office. The maintenance came and cleaned the blocked filter, after that the aircon was OK. . No towel provided at the pool, so need to bring towel from room. Since it's only a day we tolerated the smell and don't want to spoil our holiday mood.

Nothing to comment, worth of stay

Grand Inna Medan is in an excellent location for access to Medan, has spacious rooms and is fairly clean. The pool is very pleasant. The old colonial bit of the building is quite pretty If you need laundry doing, Rakyat laundry is much cheaper than the hotel and is just around the corner.

The hotel would benefit from some updating to make it better value for money - the curtains etc. were a bit grimy.
