Nothing worked no hot water tv or microwave acquired about the hot water and was asked to wait till the next day so I asked for a full refund and check out

Nothing.

Everything. No hot water air conditioning didn't work properly TV didn't work blood stains on the mattress it looked like somebody threw up on the garbage. In the community areas garbages were overflowing.

It was ran down, there wasn’t cups in the room. Pictures on the walls were dirty. Carpet was peeling off the floor. Breakfast wasn’t not breakfast, all they had was a bowl of cereal and toast but no toaster, no juice, and no coffee!! Ac unit in room was broken!! Slept like shit since it kept beeping and we couldn’t keep it on.

Our room was dirty! The air conditioner, the microwave, and the plug for the blow dryer did not work. And there was no smoke detector working. The breakfast area was disgusting. Would not eat there.. The man at the front desk was rude. He told us we could use the bathroom downstairs before we checked in, but would not get us any toilet paper.

Breakfast had little to offer. Wouldn't have eaten there anyway because the whole hotel was dirty. Room was not vacuumed, outlet for hair dryer did not work, smoke detector missing, no batteries for tv remote, garbage was littered around the hotel grounds.

I lived in Cedar Falls for 2 years and didn’t realize it could be this sketchy here! Booked the hotel for 3 nights and we left after 8 hours. Honestly if we hadn’t arrived so late we would’ve turned around immediately. The smell walking into the lobby was putrid, smelled like a rag tasted and didn’t disappear until about 5am. The “wall” next to the door is just a window to the hall so no privacy if you wanted daylight. The floor hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, felt very grimy and did not want to be barefoot. I will say there were no bed bugs for what it’s worth 🤷‍♀️ Everything was covered in grime and dust. There was a beer bottle discarded behind the fridge (see image). Lamps were plugged into surge protectors, not that it mattered because multiple plugs were burnt out (see image). One look at the shower and I decided that would not be happening. Needless to say we checked out first thing in the morning. I got an email saying we would be only charged for the one night but have yet to see that reflected in my bank account.
