Casa del Mar Langkawi

We have been coming to this small hotel many times since 2014. Sadly my wife due illness could not make it this year but the staff made me feel very welcome and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It is such a relaxing place and I feel totally chilled. Great food, dinner on the beach and the best staff of any hotel that I have stayed in. Next year I really hope that my wife will be with me and enjoy another great holiday at the Casa del Mar.

The Casa Del Mar Is a standout boutique hotel in Langkawi dwarfed but not outdone by the larger prestige hotels on the island. Very few hotels can provide the level of personal service the hotel provides. This is borne out by the number of multi returning guests that stay year on year. The hotel probably enjoys the best location on the island right on Cenang Beach. Atmospheric dinners on the beach very within yards of the sea is a standout feature of this great hotel. The staff are highly motivated and clearly enjoy working in the hotel. It is rare to see such evident high morale and pleasure serving their guests and doing their best for the hotel. Many guests come back for more!

A very relaxing small hotel with a lovely pool and smiling staff right on a very clean beach. Breakfast choices were fabulous. Definitely a place for the older crowd. As we expected from the reviews, the decor is in a dated 1980s style and if all the dark browns and terracotta colours were painted white it would give the whole place a modern uplift, but if you can ignore that then enjoy your stay!

A beautiful small hotel equipped equipped with all you need, from ice in the room, plenty of coat hangers and wonderful staff. The local town isn’t as nice as it could be but we found plenty of lovely places to eat even if it meant getting a short grab for very little money. Would definitely return one day..

Everything we wanted for a sunshine beach break after 4 weeks touring New Zealand. Though on a busy beach this hotel is a little oasis where we were able to relax peacefully. We had to move rooms and one was in a better location than the other, though both had sea views and the interior of both rooms were spacious and comfortable. Apart from some rooms access, the overall layout of the hotel is perfect with everything convenient centred around the pool, loungers, beach bar, restaurant, beach area. Loungers and towels are generous and plentiful. There are many delightful touches like iced water at the lounger, ice creams, fresh fruit, cold towels and many other custom requests that are catered for. Breakfasts are fresh and varied. Dinner on the beach is wonderful and although the menu might be limited for more than a week, there are a wide variety of local restaurants within easy walking distance. Best of all the staff provide everything you could want to provide a perfect holiday experience - helpful, polite, personable, pro-active, friendly, thoughtful, fun, professional and organised - nothing is too much trouble.
