Hilton Garden Inn Secaucus/Meadowlands

The staff working at breakfast was incredibly engaging and friendly.

We booked this hotel due to the proximity of the stadium and the pool. We were unable to use the pool the morning of the game due to it being under maintenance. This was very disappointing as it was one of the key reasons we had booked here. In addition, the room while it was clean, was 84 degrees with the heat blasting when we arrived. It tools hours for the room to become comfortable. Also, as a not the entrance to the property is also very easily missed.

The hotel itself has a lot of amenities that I enjoyed. The park-and-ride is less than a seven minute drive from the hotel you can drive there park your car and catch the bus to the city which takes about 20 to 30 minutes max. So the location of the hotel in conjunction with the New York City is wonderful.. There’s also a Mexican restaurant in front of the hotel. That was probably some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten in my life so fresh, the pricing was fair. We fully enjoyed our meal.

I’m not blaming anybody but myself for not knowing a second language, but it was a little bit hard to communicate with the housekeeping staff because they don’t speak English very well, but I was able to use ChatGPT to type in what I wanted to say and have it translatedto show the housekeeper and then we were fine

Location was fantastic and 5 min away from the bus station and 15 min away from new york city bus main terminal.

Staff at reception desk were not helpful and very aggressive. Also we have booked double room for 2 persons "breakfast included" through Booking.com but the hotel didn't accept that and we have to pay one breakfast extra as it shows in the hotel system for one person only 😑 Also the housekeeping for the rooms is not daily and only every second day which is not normal.

The Hilton Garden Inn is nestled adjacent to several major highways which can be helpful to travelers, though careful attention should be paid when approaching the lot entrance since it is easy to miss unless one is careful. Check in was easy and the room was clean and spacious, which included a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Despite sitting close to roadways, my room was quiet throughout the night. The hotel includes a pool and fitness center, though I did not see a business center for access to computer/printer. A $ breakfast is available with reasonable prices. An adjacent restaurant is available meals later in the day. Parking is easy with a large garage on the property. The property is not within walking distance to shops or attractions, so one will need ready access to a vehicle if the aim is to visit other than attend meetings within the hotel.

This hotel is so unprofessional and sketchy. They made a mistake and instead of owning up to it, changed my reservation details so Hilton honors could not help. I have asked for three months to talk to the general manager, all I get is the assist general manager who is extremely rude and hangs up on me. Stay away. This hotel only cares about money and the GM apparently can't be bothere
