I had an amazing dinner with the most polite and patient server, Anu was her name. The level of professionalism was outstanding and I really enjoyed my night and food.

Myself and a friend booked a 2 night stay at a specific rate which was emailed to us. When we checked in we were told we should have been quoted significantly higher rate-the higher rate was charged to my credit card. This really started our stay on a sour note. I complained and I eventually was phoned by Reservations Manager on the second day of my stay and the difference was refunded back to my credit card after showing their original email to me (refund came through after I got home after my stay). Due to noise from a generator/industrial air con unit both myself and my friend could not sleep the first night. We requested and were moved to another room (on the same floor-3rd) where the noise wasn't as loud but still audible. We had a meal in Fire & Salt Restaurant-the service seemed unorganised. We were left with long waits between courses and I had to ask multiple times for a glass of wine. I received one eventually but was charged for two. I paid for any extras (we had a meal allowance as part of the package) at the restaurant. I recommend the Spa-we booked a half day package and I have to say it was worth it. They have a lovely set up-you receive a complimentary bag & flip flops plus get a robe/towel to use for the duration of the visit. Treatments were lovely and therapist very professional. The lunch was very nice. I also booked a separate treatment at Gloss at the Spa for the next morning (a deluxe pedicure). Again a very enjoyable experience. We had dinner in the Coach House Brasserie on the second evening - great service and lovely food. We paid for the meal in the restaurant. Upon check out - the restaurant charges were on our bill-only after we showed the receipts that they were removed.

We had dinner in the bar on Thursday evening, which was very enjoyable from start to finish. Our server was Oisin who was very knowledgeable on the food and drink menus, he made the evening a lot easier. Thanks Oisin

We had a wonderful stay at Johnstown Estate. The hotel and spa were amazing, so relaxing and beautifully maintained. Dinner in the Coach House Brasserie was delicious, but what really made the evening special was the outstanding service from our server Oisín. He was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Overall, an excellent experience, we will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay in the hotel. We had a lovely meal in the Coach House Bar we were served by Oisin who was very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful.
