Holiday Inn Express Southfield-Detroit, an IHG Hotel

Dirty pool that has not been cleaned for a long time.Jacuzzi was not available. Ripped wallpaper in the room with filthy and loud air conditioning.

Everything should be in working condition and have towels for guest when they need them. Very disappointing

It was… fine. Room was decent, the staff solved my problem (shower head was broken, making my first morning’s shower frustrating with almost no water pressure, but was fixed and promptly when I told them), but the overall cleanliness of the furniture (specifically the sides of the couch and the chair) was gross. Makes me wonder what else they neglected to maintain.

The suite was perfect for our family. My girls and I slept in the queen beds, and my son was on the couch in the living area, which allowed for privacy, without having to rent a second room. Breakfast was tasty, and there was something for everyone. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, housekeeping did an amazing job tidying up every day, even the other guests were friendly and cheerful. It was an all around great weekend.

Cleanliness of the property is terrible! The mattresses and carpet has stains. The a/c units didnt work, and etc. This place is also family owned so they charge an extra unheard of fee's.

Our air conditioning didn’t work in the first room so we got a new room. The entrance area is definitely uninviting and has a “motel” vibe. The room was mediocre. We have stayed in Southfield for less in better hotels. So , this was kind of a disappointment.

This was a very nice property. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bed was great. Overall, a very enjoyable stay for 2 nights.

Seemed safe in a convenient location to food and highway!
