Homewood Suites by Hilton - Oakland Waterfront

Accessibility to everything I needed, complimentary breakfast was key. Everyone was polite and helpful and professional.

We were given a room for disabled guest, after being told by front desk staff on arrival that the room suite with a tub I booked way not available and it was Expedia’s fault for over booking me. The bathroom shower for disabled was disgusting, black mold or mildew with peeling caulk and vinyl molding, brown stains running down the wallpaper. Bathroom looked dirty and in desperate need of maintenance attention and repairs. The entire closet door to the suite was missing etc.

Windows where shaking due to the Hway noise. Mold in the room. No rest. Rigid receptionist she would not consider doing anything for us. Only thing that was good was breakfast. Definitely not Hilton standards Pictures at the moment on booking where deceiving

I did not stay here I went into the room and had to leave the room smelled like smoke and all the furniture was not clean looking . It looked and smelled like a motel 6 I had to leave And get another hotel which you will see

The parking was not the greatest but everything was great

I would not stay there again. It is a bit run-down and the repairs that have been completed are not top-notch (shoddy patch jobs). My first night there, there was a verbal fight in the hallway that lasted for roughly 90 minutes (4 AM to 5:30 AM which did not contribute to me feeing rested and ready for the upcoming day.The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was reasonaby good bit all told, it was not worth the ~ $148/night that I paid and I will be looking elsewhere when I visit the area again

Nothing except daytime staff was nice. Breakfast was decent

Front desk staff was rude when we checked in at about 12:30 AM. The room was gross, razor blade marks covered the table (the photos are only a couple spots) we had to cover it with a sheet for the kids to eat there, bedding was dirty and pullout bed was disgusting.. I tried letting front desk staff know and they were no help. Definitely don’t bring your kids here.

Finding the room was hard because it’s in a different tower which requires a physical key and we had a digital. We weren’t informed of this before check in and/or in email and there was no signage. Wasn’t a great start to our trip.

We checked and went to the building next door and it rewked of old stale smoke when walking in. Room was less than impressive old and outdated. Im pretty sure we paid for a room facing the water but it instead faced the freeway. Tried calling the front desk multiple times with no answer. Hairs and mold in the bathroom hairs stuck to the back of the desk chair. Kiddos was sleeping on the pull out and when youvopened it there was an old crumpled up used sheet in the middle. We were only there for a concert and were running late otherwise we would have found a different hotel. For almost $300 it was definitely not worth it. Woke up and went outside in the mornings and prostitutes still hanging around outside. Old broken down Rvs parked all along the roads with people living in them. Not an ideal location or rooming situation.
