Homewood Suites by Hilton - Oakland Waterfront

Right next to the freeway. Hotel hadn’t been updated in many years.

the place is good but the thing is my partner is pwd and the elevator is not working thats the hard part for us.

My first floor window didn’t lock and the screen had been tampered with, then my fiancée and I were woken up to police arresting someone across the hall in the middle of the night, then we woke up to our room door slightly open, then we got moved to another room and the balcony looked like it was rotted. Then we asked for more pillows and were given pillows in a bag of trash that included chewed up gum after complaining and needing to be moved. There was dog poop outside all over the property.

Liked being by the water. Unfortunately it was a cold night but it didnt rain at night, but the staff decided not to set up firepit area. Also, no entertainment, only on Weds. Per staff.

They had a laundry facility that was open 24 hours.

Not enough exits in that building walking too far to the exits .

Nice view. Love balcony feature. Rooms decently modern.

Trash overflowing outside garbages. Bay shore needs clean-up.
