Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn - 1 Acre Private Beach

We celebrated our anniversary spending times in St Augustine. The room had a king bed and double walk in shower with ocean views. The included breakfast was great with so many options.. Parking was free with our stay. The beach is across the street but we were able to cross safely. We did the Trolley Tour, the Ghost & Gravestones tour, the beach and we enjoyed the pool! Thank you to Silese, Nick, AJ And Issac. I would go back again.

My favorite hotel on this trip! The room was spacious and very clean. Bed was super comfy. Loved the popcorn and cookies in the lobby in the afternoon. The breakfast was phenomenal--eggs and cheese omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, great muffins AND a cappucino machine. Really wanted to get to the private beach, but weather did not cooperate. This place exceeded my expectations!

Enjoyed the balcony and calming atmosphere from the the room. We could hear the ocean. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed the free breakfast very much.

It was a very refreshing , quiet , all together awesome getaway & Mrs. Bernice ( such a sweetheart ) was absolutely amazing . Very welcoming , courteous & funny ! I will definitely be visiting more as well as referring other to visit

A “great” discount rate turns into a nightmare. In small print hidden only at the tail end of the agreement and then visually listed only after paying for the non-refundable locked in reservation , you are informed of an outrageous $119.99 per night resort fee to be paid on check in! What a Scam! Repeated attempts to immediately cancel results in a run around that I’m still trying to navigate. That the Inn uses this deceptive tactic is deplorable.And that Hotwire/Expedia goes along with it is unconscionable. If this review saves folks aggravation/hassle, and if it ends up costing the Ocean Sands business ,I’ll have done my public service.

What a great place. We found late at night while driving past St. Augustine. Spent the night, enjoyed it so much we are now planning a family trip to stay. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, breakfast was good. And overall just just a great experience. Oh, yes the beach access is awesome (even on a windy rainy day).

DO NOT STAY HERE . Read the negative reviews. Upon arrival we were told we had to pay 40$ for parking and was like ok handed over my card . Woke up the next morning to a charge of 30$ and an extra charge for 133$ went o checkout and was told it was a mistake got refunded on the spot . Woke up this morning at home and was charged another 178 $ spoke to the manager and owner all who say the money would be refunded and only 45 $ was . Spoke with owner again today and said money would be refunded by the end of today and has not . So I had to go to my bank and report the charges. If you want a subpar hotel that charges you for things you didn’t sign for then choose this hotel .

Very cozy room and great location. Loads of amenities and fantastic bed! Beverly was so friendly and breakfast attendant was awesome! Will be back! JF 3 Oct 2025
