such a beautiful Inn it has so much to do or you can do nothing we stayed on the beach view side and it was very pretty breakfast every morning was hot and fresh, super delicious

Beautiful and unique

The hotel was good but it was so windy u couldn’t spend time at the beach. I wanted to use the pool but the heater was broken, so it was very cold water. The staff, Silese, Bever, Issac and Julio, were very accommodating and always had a smile.

First, the good things. All of the staff is wonderful from Silese and Beverly at the front desk to all other staff that we encountered. They are all helpful and kind. A gentleman (didn't get his name) came to our room to repair our balcony chairs and he was great. The breakfast is simple but nice and there are several selections for coffee and drinks. The location is nice, right across the street from the beach access and very close drive to the historic downtown area of St. Augustine. The rooms are clean and have everything you need including a nice sized refrigerator, nice toiletries, plenty of towels, etc. Now for the things that need work: It was windy while we were there and the siding over the top of our balcony would shift constantly during the night with the wind and make a loud banging noise. It woke us both up and needs to be secured somehow. Also, every time someone opened and closed their door, the entire wall where the headboards are would shake the entire wall. This also woke me up more than once. The rooms are small (very nice, but small) so if you have a family, the room would be very cramped. It was very difficult to maintain the temperature of the room because the person who is sleeping next to the air conditioner unit has ice cold air blowing directly on them, while the person using the other bed is warm. I had to put a towel over the air flow just so I could sleep. There were broken slats on our balcony chairs that I reported almost immediately after our arrival. They were fixed the next day, but for a two night stay, we couldn't use both chairs the first night. The vending machine was out of order so I couldn't get a soda and had to go to the convenience store down the street. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience and it is a nice little place with lots to do for a family. But, in the future, we will choose somewhere else.

The week of Sept. 8th, 2025, we enjoyed another great getaway vaca at the Ocean Sands Beach Boutique Inn, St. Augustine's FL. We have been coming here for years and greatly appreciate the great job they have done on updating the entire property while still leaving it with the feel of a small coastal inn. The great front desk staff ( Nick, Beverly, & Silese) as well as the housekeeping staff ( Yari & Isacc) all work well together, and their attention to detail shows in everything they do. You can't go wrong with the location either You are right on the beach and so very close to everything that the city of St. Augustine has to offer. K& C Walters

When I booked this hotel, the photos and descriptions online looked amazing, but the reality doesn’t quite match the impression. The property itself feels a bit dated, and while the décor is colorful, it comes across as rather kitschy. There’s also a noticeable smell (perhaps humidity) that makes the atmosphere less pleasant. That said, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast — though simple, in classic American hotel style — is quite good. The rooms are just “okay”: the beds are unusually high, which could be an issue for seniors, and although the bathroom (toilet and shower) has been fully renovated, the rest of the room doesn’t feel updated. Another odd detail: there’s a sauna located right in the hallway, which feels out of place. The location is not very convenient: within walking distance there are no restaurants, bars, or grocery stores. On top of that, the heavy traffic on the main road in front of the hotel means a lot of noise, which might disturb light sleepers. Overall, I would describe this hotel as passable. Not terrible, but not quite worth the price — the quality-to-cost ratio just isn’t great. Perhaps I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking. AE

Very beautiful quaint place. Very clean and staff friendly. Popcorn and cookies were the best. Private beach was absolutely wonderful and seconds away. Would stay again
