Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort South

We stayed at Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort from 04/01/26 to 04/03/26, and what should have been a simple stay turned into a frustrating and disturbing experience. On 04/02/26, our room keys stopped working—even though our stay was still active. What followed was over 30 minutes of being sent back and forth between Concierge and Front Desk, with no one able to resolve a basic issue or even locate our reservation at one point. When the Concierge was unable to assist, he went to Natalie Corral (Assistant GM) and informed her directly that he could not help my wife. However, when my wife spoke to Ms. Corral less than a minute later, Ms. Corral stated that she did not recall my wife standing in line or being assisted at all—which was both surprising and frustrating given the circumstances. The most concerning part was how my wife was treated. She wears a hijab, and I personally witnessed a clear difference in behavior. While Ms. Corral was about to assist another guest—a Caucasian male—the way she apologized to him, along with her tone and body language, was completely different from how my wife was treated. It was hard to ignore. Out of frustration, I did raise my voice and used inappropriate language—which I acknowledge was wrong. However, instead of resolving the issue, staff escalated the situation by calling security. The security officer, Pat Falsey, approached us in a confrontational and interrogative manner without even understanding what had happened, which made the situation even worse. This experience reflects poor service, lack of coordination, and deeply concerning guest treatment. For a brand like Hilton, this was unacceptable. Would not recommend. Will not be staying at Hilton again unless serious changes are made.

Clean rooms! Location! Friendly and professional staff! Nice courtyard area and gym. Great valet staff. Excellent value for price.

Location was close to the water

Forced valet with zero organization only to bring the car to an unattended satellite lot across the street. Bar inside was clearly over serving leading to a lot of drunks wandering the halls. Room was nothing special, certainly not worth the price. Booked it on a whim, regretted it.

Mary, Erin and Alex were all very helpful, polite, and made the entire experience very smooth with no hassle

Directions on how to get to the pool could be a little more clear.
