Their attention to detail made a noticeable difference throughout. Set right along the coast, the beachside location offers a beautiful marine view that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset, the scenery creates a calm, inviting atmosphere. The resort itself feels incredibly open and comfortable, with generously spacious shared areas that never feel crowded. The large pools are a highlight—perfect for both relaxing swims and lounging under the sun. Food is another strong point, with a wide variety available across buffets and specialty restaurants. There’s something for every taste, and the quality remains consistently high. The bedrooms are equally impressive—very pretty, clean, and modern, with thoughtful design touches that make them feel both luxurious and comfortable. Altogether, it’s a place that balances beauty, comfort, and service exceptionally well.

The food at the Italian restaurant was so good. Luis Alvarez and Victor Ornelas were our servers and were fantastic! A great experience!

We loved swimming at the beach. There were lots of daytime activities. We found the food good especially in the snack bar and restaurants

The staff was excellent and very friendly. The bartender named Alfredo at the bar was awesome. He made great drinks and had great customer service. Very outgoing and accommodating.

I had an amazing stay at Barceló Puerto Vallarta—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The resort itself is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located with incredible ocean views, but what really made this trip unforgettable was the outstanding service. A special shoutout to Mosses Rodriguez, who delivered top-tier service the entire time. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—always attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. It’s rare to come across someone who takes so much pride in their work, and it made a huge difference in our stay. The staff overall was excellent, the food was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place where you’re treated like a VIP, this is it. I will definitely be coming back—and I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta!

Moises Rodriguez was attentive, remembered our names and always greeted us with a smile. His customer service was above par.

The location is beautiful. The hotel is on a lovely little bay surrounded by jungle like mountains. The bay water is great to swim. The hotel is family friendly with many activities for the kids the same goes for the adults. We stayed in a Grand Master sea front suite which is both comfortable and very spacious. The buffet is the main eating area for all meals but you can also choose el la carte with three other specialty restaurants. The staff is what makes this hotel tick. Friendly, professional and helpful. We appreciated them all though a special shout out to servers Fray, being our regular attentive dinner server, along with David (Tony Montana) and Luis all fun and all good at their jobs. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Veronica, Selma and Carmen. The check in is smooth even serving a glass of champagne. The cons are music that plays loudly at times. Buying pesos when needed for tips, not always available. A note…we are two of many people that had to experience the lockdown due to the cartel’s actions regarding the killing of the kingpin drug lord. The hotel made us feel safe and assured us accommodations for those of us affected. It took us 6 days from our booked flight home to find another. What a mess!! We will be back!!!
