Barceló Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive

Our first time in a Barcelo facility and probably our last time. We are returning with bites over our bodies from, what i think, are bed bites of some sort. Definitely, not mosquitoes as we were not out at night: Terrible, terrible. Entertainment was not up to par with other resorts we been to. Not enough. Pool activities are in need of charisma from the personnel. The bingo games were like being in a bingo hall with 70, 80 year olds. Restaurants? Can only attend one a la carte every 3 days. Terrible. And food very, very limited. OVERALL: NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

We arrived and from the moment we the entered the resort we were treated absolutely wonderful by every staff member there. Carlos in kids club was amazing with all of our littles. Moises at the pool was spot on with the service of cocktails. So many names I can't remember but hats off to the food service, entertainment, info desk ladies and the housekeepers. This resort rates at the top of our many trips. Thank your Barcelo for making our stay one to remember.

We had a great stay at Barceló Puerto Vallarta! The beach is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for families. The cherry on top were Carlos and Maria from the kids club—they are truly amazing! So kind, patient, and full of positive energy. They made every activity fun and engaging, always going above and beyond to make the kids feel happy, included, and special. My daughters absolutely adored them and looked forward to seeing them every day—they didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely be back next year!

We enjoyed our time at Barcelo. We appreciated the great service we got from our favorite servers, Moises, Luis, Mayra and Yarely.

We stayed at the Barcelo Mismaloya from March 1st. to 15th, 2026, in a "Grand Master Suite Sea Front View Premium Level". The suite was very spacious, but we found a long list of things that did not work, ranging from a sliding patio door that would not slide, a burned-out shaver receptacle, a very, very slow draining shower, and numerous lights that did not work. Staff eventually fixed most items, but how can management let what is supposed to be a premium room run down so badly? Rooms are cleaned daily, but marble-topped tables or sideboards had not been cleaned in months. They were covered in ring stains from glasses. Food was good in the Italian and Spanish restaurants, poor in Los Arcos, and OK in the main buffet. We had two major complaints that guarantee we would not return. The first is the unending, ear-splitting boom-boom "music" from the pool area. This starts about 11 am and goes on until 6 pm. Even in our room with doors closed, the noise was terrible. We realise that a lot of people seem to tolerate this noise, but not us. The second complaint is that the loungers around the pool are extremely uncomfortable. They badly need cushions if you want to lie on them for more than 1/2 hour.

We celebrated my husband's retirement and I was able to arrange a private dinner for a group of us at the last minute. The food was amazing with wonderful service. We were seated on the deck at sunset, truly a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was exceptional and even provided a discount!

It’s been a dream. The views, the sea, the weather… everything has been perfect. The staff is world class! Everybody is kind and helpful. The food has been amazing. Highly recommended.

We had a great time basking in the sun ☀️ Food was good, resort was great! À la cart restaurants were wonderful! Service was excellent - all staff friendly and helpful. Shout out to Moses and David for being extra attentive and chatty! We will be back ✈️

Victor and Luis were great at the Italian restaurant. The food was good and filling. They were friendly and helpful.
