Holiday Inn Reynosa Industrial Poniente by IHG

Good stay and good location. I will keep staying here when I visit Reynosa.

The last six months I stopped using this hotel because every time I stayed here there was always a problem... I decided to give it a shot again and again I was let down... I guess this will never change at this hotel...

Everything was great I did expect at some Continental breakfast at least.

The Hotel employees were very nice and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was safe I felt as if I was still in the u.s and there is a Mall across the street. I had NO problem's with my shower very big and spacious.. The restaurant on site Agave was so so good and the staff were friendly... I am returning in Dec I will will stay at this Hotel again. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn for your next stay.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights on the first week of August 2012. The hotel has the looks of a tipycal Holiday Inn, which I found good considering some Holiday Inns are not build expressly to accomodate the chain requirements. The rooms are very spacious, and quiet. The shower seems to be weird, with a strange location inside the shower area but this does not affect its operation. The restaurant offers good meals and the dishes are tasty and abundant. One thing I didn´t like about the restaurant is that there are several salespersons working there during the day, selling what they called " wonderful vacation packages" to possible customers. This situation, which could be transparent to hotel guests, is not, because they keep talking all the time, making the place noisy and uncomfortable. They even get to shout from one table to the other, requesting information from one person sitting in a corner table who seems to be the manager. To make matters worst, they were ocuppying the best tables in the restaurant. The personnel at the front desk were very kind and were helpful at several moments during my stay. The hotel is a very good option to stay in Reynosa, and the place feels safe.

Same problem as others mentioned... Priority club member with no benefits. The room was ok, but not a "suite" like you would find in other locations. Simply a bed, a desk, a fridge and a coffee maker. Not much to write home about, but not terrible either. I will say that they did try their best to get us in the room an hour or so early, so the service is much better than the other HI in Reynosa. If you have to pick between the two, choose Poniente for the higher level of service, as well as safety.
