Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive

Absolutely amazing experience. We stayed in suite 31, and went to pool 26. Great pool, great atmosphere, and even better service !!!! Carlos, Omar, and Marcos are amazing trio together.. they get things done & are genuine to talk too. They make everyone feel happy & know how to run the place properly. We did not have to wait long at all for our service, and they regularly checked up on us!!!! We will be coming back - and hoping to see Carlos, Omar & Marcos together in Pool 26!!!

This was an RCI exchange for us. 12 of us in our group. First they put the 2 of us in building 22. (Friends in buildings 43,44,45). Building 22 is in need of some serious renovations and cleaning. We were moved to building 43. Newer building but still needs some upkeep. We came in the week after Easter so it was a very busy week. Not enough staff to keep up with the influx of those staying. Regularly spent up to 1 hour wait for food after order placed. AND it was always luke warm or cold. The quality of food was just so-so. I believe this was due to the resort being an All Inclusive and the kitchen trying to get the food out as fast as they could. Views are amazing but if you want to get somewhere in a timely manner then plan on walking, climbing the hills of the resort. The lack of upkeep was a huge red flag against ever buying into this resort. Please note we have traveled to all the Pueblo Bonita resorts multiple times, so not a first time visit for us.

Elias is the BEST! Totally took care of our family and was so kind to our kids. Made our trip that much better! He helps us navigate the resort with ease!

This place is so unbelievably terrible at customer service, I can’t believe they manage to get anyone to buy into “ownership” here. We stayed with friends who were using their timeshare here for the first time in 8 years, traded two weeks plus $2,000 to upgrade to a two-bedroom suite, and we arrived to our room to discover it was a one-bedroom that wouldn’t work for our party of 6. They refused to fix the situation or let him talk to the management, saying it was a reservations issue and nothing they could do anything about. Finally after hours of fighting with them, they downgraded us to two basic rooms, giving us a room that literally had a view straight into a restaurant (see photos). Unbelievable You need a shuttle service to take you anywhere in this place, and you can expect to regularly watch them drive past your pick up spot. Multiple times it took us 30 minutes or more to get a ride, despite calling for pick up and speaking to 5 different carts who all told us someone was on the way or they’d be right back after dropping someone off. This place literally doesn’t care at all about your time or experience. You’ve paid up, and you’re stuck there and you’re just going to get whatever you get. Maybe the most insulting part of all is that despite the remote location and a resort full of guests from other countries, they have the nerve to charge “owners” and guests alike a heavy ransom for the incredible privilege of… wait for it… wifi service. Yes, you can connect and log into the WiFi with your name a room number, promptly to be met with a message that you have not paid for a “wifi package” that costs $15 per day for any connectivity whatsoever. Just an unbelievable level of pettiness and nickel-and-diming people who have paid tens of thousands of dollars to stay here. I will never, ever go back to this place. Not even if they offered me a free stay. Stay away at all costs - it’s exactly the nightmare timeshare resort you’ve heard about.

Our stay at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Golf & Spa Resort was once again an amazing experience. My family has come here a few times and we always have a great time. This trip I went with a group of my friends from college. The resort itself is beautiful, the service is always top-tier, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. One of the highlights of every trip is seeing Alejandro, one of the golf cart drivers. He is incredibly kind, friendly, and always goes out of his way to make our stay even better. Whether it’s a quick ride or just a warm greeting, he consistently makes us feel welcome and taken care of. It honestly wouldn’t feel like the same trip without him. It’s people like Alejandro who make this resort so special. We truly appreciate his positive attitude and excellent service every time we visit. Already looking forward to coming back again!

We loved spending our time at the main pool with Roberto as our server both days! He was very attentive and nice! Made our experience here great!
