Don't go here. The registration doesn't know what they are doing. They tell you they have no rooms after you book months in advance. We moved 3 times in 7 days. Untrained staff everywhere. We had a medical emergency and our approved refund for all inclusive has taken over 80 days and the $2000 is still not refunded. You can not trust them with your money & your reservation. It's changed after coming here for 20 years. Food is expensive and mediocre. Pools are lovely. Sad......... We use to love coming here.

The whole trip was amazing! Elias 14 was very helpful with the golf carts and luggage and same with Jose Luis, Alejandro 38, and Ruben 57.

We just returned from a 7-day family vacation at Puerto Bonito Sunset Beach and we are already talking about coming back. From the moment we arrived, this resort exceeded every expectation — but the true highlight of our trip was Pool 26 and our server, Carlos. On day one, Carlos greeted us with a warm smile, attentive service, and genuine care that immediately set the tone for our entire stay. The service was so outstanding that we never felt the need to visit any other pool — we returned to Pool 26 every single day for all 7 days, and Carlos was there every time, going above and beyond to make sure our whole group was taken care of. For a friend and family group like ours, having that kind of consistent, personable service made all the difference. Carlos remembered our preferences, kept us refreshed, and made us feel like VIP guests from start to finish. He is truly an asset to this resort. If you're planning a trip to Sunset Beach, make your way to Pool 26 and ask for Carlos — you won't regret it. Thank you for a vacation we will never forget! 🌅

Recommend Alejandro as a driver. He is the best driver there and will get you anywhere on the resort. It is the perfect vacation for any ages.

A shout out to the Jefe of Elias Torres - Cart Driver. Better than the best. Kind. Treated us like Royalty. Happy. Always a smile on his face. Respectful. He loves his job. Elias Torres has made many friends over the years who would request pick ups when going off to dinner. One couple had been coming for many years and said he was their favorite driver. We felt safe with him and his calm driving skills. Prompt pick ups upon requesting him. He even arranged for a co worker- Eric to pick us up for our final day- early morning departure. Elias said Eric would be there at 7:10 AM. He was there early. Thank you. Elias would take me to a pool that had an available pool lounge chair. Chairs by the pool were hard to find. :/ He made sure I got to the pool that had a chair. Very important to me for my daily activity of Pool Lounger Bum. Elias Torres allowed me to ride along and view the beautiful sights on the property, the ocean, and magnificent views. Elias is a warm and friendly-special person. We miss him.
