Eleazar at the main pool was a great waiter! We had a terrible first day with no AC and tarantulas in our room, but he made the 1 star review into a 3. Would’ve been a 5 if we didn’t have the bad first night and second day. Way to go Eleazar

Eleazar provided great service all day long by the pool. Very accommodating and friendly. We were out here for 7 hours and was always making sure we had something we wanted.

We’ve stayed at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach multiple times and have generally had a positive experience. The resort offers a variety of activities, and Vicente and Christian stood out for creating a fun and engaging environment. We also received great service from Erick, Angel, and Felix throughout the week—they were consistently attentive and welcoming. However, our experience at the main pool on our final morning was disappointing. After briefly stepping away from our chairs for about 10 minutes, we returned to find our belongings had been moved and our chairs taken. Diego informed us that items are removed if chairs are left unattended, as reserving chairs is not allowed. Tessa, the manager on duty, reiterated the same policy. While we understand the rule, the strict application in this situation felt unreasonable given how briefly we were away. We also observed similar situations happening to other guests, which created a frustrating and somewhat tense atmosphere around the pool. While many aspects of the resort—and several staff members—were excellent, this situation left us with a less positive impression at the end of our stay.

The resort is beautiful. We had the executive suite with ocean view and jacuzzi, and it exceeded our expectations. The balcony was huge, the jacuzzi was clean and hot, and we could see whales during the day. The unit was clean and had a full kitchen. The bathrooms were clean. The AC was great. Since the resort is so big, you have to rely on six person golf carts to take you from place to place. The drivers are good, and they are pretty quick to come when you call. We thought the food was pretty good too. We had all inclusive, and ate at the buffet a few times, the bistro, the market, and the deli. All of them had great options. We thought the bistro had the best food. All of the pools were nice. It was easy enough to find lounge chairs. Lastly, we used their transportation for pick up from the airport. It was expensive, but nice to be picked up in a private suburban. The drivers were on time and nice.

We thought the beds were a little hard, and the pillows weren’t that great. Room service took two hours to arrive in the morning, and lunch order at the pool took an hour and a half one time. Also, the beach is not swimmable due to the rough waves and rocks.

Goodness gracious this has to be the best most creative and tasty mexican inspired food we have ever tasted. We took a shot on booking there as we stayed at Pacifica- and we had to return on our last night because nothing tops it. The servers are all delightful too! Dont hesitate on reserving a spot! Such a charming place.

This resort is nice but all inclusive is crazy expensive! They hook you to go to the time share meeting and get affordable all inclusive rates. There is a lady who bugs you everyday sometimes multiple times a day to check to see if you have attended a meeting. Then you go listen to their pitch. After several hours we explain we are not interested and then she talked my mother into paying $100 and we would have 90 days to decide or cancel. The week we returned home my mother decided she did not want to move forward with the time share. We contacted the email contacts given to us to cancel. We have emailed multiple times, called and were told in 3-5 business days they would email us a cancellation. It has been almost two months…still waiting! Major scam, steer clear!!!!
