Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa

Food was average, walls outside our room cracked,

We booked our stay at Ramside Hall as it’s an ideal spot to stay whilst visiting family, unfortunately we had the most awful experience, there was a wedding being held there which we was unaware of until we came out of the restaurant on our first night and was bombarded with groups of loud women and lots of children running around, we then decided to find a quieter area of the Hotel to sit in, when going back to our room and during the night when trying to sleep some or all of the group of loud woman and children were staying in rooms opposite ours, the noise and banging of doors seemed to go on for hours, the second night was even worse as it was the evening of the wedding party, more continuous noise and banging of doors which was still happening at 4am which then led me to ring reception to ask if they would tell these people to be more quiet and show some sort of respect to others, these people were still continuing to be so loud and rude the next morning at breakfast so we decided not to eat ours, we will not be returning to this hotel as it’s been such a horrendous experience we still can’t get over it, one of the managers did say he was sorry but when we checked out the girl on reception didn’t have the decency to apologise just asked us what we had planned for the day she clearly knew how upset we was. It’s not the staffs thought but they should however think very carefully where they decide to select rooms for visitors not near very loud disrespectful people.

Ramside Hall is a great place to stay, polite staff, nice rooms, open space. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing treehouses, truly! I suck at writing reviews, but they really are unmatched. Nothing like this anywhere nearby. Period. First class service!

Was really nice place n luxurious the entire time was perfect

Room was brilliant, definitely opt for the premier rooms, spa was okay. Feel like for the price of the rooms you should be give full access to the spa not just the 25m pool, sauna and steam room (which was always very full for the 1hr access you get.

We had a spa day which was fabulous and then stayed over. We chose to eat in Charcoa restaurant on the evening. I ordered mince and dumplings and my friend Salmon. The food had obviously been there for sometime. Both meals were cold as were the vegetables. We sent them back and ordered a pizza which was cooked fresh. Everything else about the stay including breakfast was very good.

Lovely hotel, quiet. Added bonus of spa and breakfast and dinner were fab.

Enjoyed our stay, room was large and comfortable. I was surprised that there were no gowns in the room given that we could use the pool and spa. Our phone TV were not working so had to go to reception to order room service. No glasses in the room.

Lovely stay, but when staying on the ground floor really noisy can hear every conversation and laughter as people come in from a night out so we didn’t sleep well. I actually forgot from last time and should have asked for a room upstairs as we needed to sleep and leave to drive out early.
