Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa

Very friendly staff, quick dinner after long journey welcomed, bed comfy, spacious room, great power shower, only blip was batteries ran out in electronic door lock but replaced quickly, better to use duracels as opposed to cheaper ones!

Lovely spacious and clean bedroom. The staff were friendly - especially in the Fusion Restaurant. Lovely spa with excellent sized pool.

Stayed here for one night on business. Great rate for the night. Check in great. Room fantastic with a bit of wow factor upon entering. Very clean, comfy bed. Swimming pool fantastic. Fusion restaraunt food lovely but service not great. I was approached almost as soon as i sat down for food ordering but i hadnt seen the menu yet so i asked for 2 minutes. 15 minutes later a server came and apologised for the wait. Which at least she acknowledged i was waiting. Food came, lovely and tasty, but noone checked on me to see if everything was okay with my meal. Then when i finished my meal i waited for what felt like forever for someone to clear my plates. When someone finally came over i just asked for the bill and didnt even wait for my plates to be cleared. Just a bit of advice, when there is a solo female traveller eating on her own, she may not feel comfortable waiting around for so long. This doesnt bother me but i do know colleagues and friends who sometimes may feel vulnerable because travelling on business and just wants to eat and leave. This was not possible for me and i was left for around 45 minutes longer than needed. I did try to catch the servers eyes but they genuinely did not look in my direction at all. So felt a little overlooked. Bit of a shame.

Limited availability to the pool, you’re granted an hour but not when it’s busy. Which is obviously correspondant to the amount of spa usage. We were only offered a late evening slot. Nice room, a few issues, no bedding on the bed on arrival and no plug in the bath but both issues were resolved. We would stay again but probably not a Saturday and try to pre book a slot in the pool better or the spa itself

Have no worries about staying in this hotel. Staff so friendly. Spa great tho only allowed an hour. Marvellous.

Clean but not spotless - housekeeping can be hit and miss. A few minor maintenance issues with the room: missing lock on bathroom door, holes in carpet. Overall the hotel is pretty good, but what really lets it down are the guests: noisy, mouthy, and leaving a strong smell of weed in the corridors and outside.
