America's Best Value Inn - Memphis Airport

The sheets were crumpled up at the foot of the bed. I’m not sure if they were not clean or if someone did not know how to make a bed. The towels were small, scratchy, and worn. There were dirty tissues in the Kleenex box.

I loved my stay and the staff....

It was nice for what I paid. Noisy area but near the airport

High crime area---parking lot behind locked gates and bright spotlights. Train noise through the night, along with trucks and law enforcement helicopters.

Arrived after 27 hours due to delay. No airport shuttle available so $20 taxi ride needed. Room dirty and noisy. No milk at 0700 for breakfast and none could be got. No forks - so no breakfast. Polystyrene cup of warm coffee only. Spoke to 'Boss' on the phone next morning - either drunk or asleep, but had no interest whatsoever. Shuttle next morning took half an hour - pity they couldn't have stopped for milk along the way!

The guy at check in kept mentioning the no smoking policy.. yes I’m a smoker but obviously outside duhh. I’m not an idiot and he made it seem like I was there to break the rules. There was also a huge sign sitting on the desk about the non smoking policy. I was in town visiting a friend. He also made it known that no other guest were allowed in the room or there would be a $25 charge? It was only me and a friend staying there anyway. Needless to say his attitude towards me didn’t make me feel comfortable. So I won’t be back. The place is clean and inexpensive and near the airport which was convenient for me.

The trip would had been great if I didn’t have an unexpected guest. Apparently the hotel had bed bugs and now I’m dealing with them. The service was great (Brittany was awesome) but the pest destroyed my trip. I would never stay at another Americans Best Value as long as I live. Also when I arrived at the hotel, Hotels.com didn’t send my payment over to them. So it took a little while before I was allowed in the room. Be careful and keep a watchful eye.

I had a horrible experience here for one night before my flight. I requested an airport shuttle when booking and it was my main reason for booking this hotel. They failed to inform me shuttles only run from 7am-9pm. I should have had no trouble getting a ride back to the hotel after my return flight since I landed at 7:30pm. I even called before my flight to ask what I needed to do and they said to call when I landed. I called, waited 20 minutes, then spent 10 minutes repeatedly calling because reception wouldn't pick up the phone. When she did answer, I was informed the shuttle driver was off and had been for the last two days. I was in a room with an adjoining door and could hear the tv of the guests next to me all night. I requested to switch rooms as soon as I arrived and was told it wasn't possible. I got very little sleep and the tv was still blaring at 4am when I woke up. Wifi never worked during my stay. I requested a call from a manager the was never received. I will not stay here again, lesson learned.

The front desk man was awesome . He was very informative ,polite just an all around nice guy. The property was clean.

We were very happy with our stay. The service was above and beyond. It was the first time I had ever ordered an Uber. The owner actually took the time to teach me how to do it! So kind and patient!!
