Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa

The resort is very well maintained and the rooms are traditional. Good food and service. The internet however was problematic.

Beautiful location, extremely comfortable room.

This resort was built as a family's hacienda in the 1920s and continued to grow from then on. Huge acreage with many freestanding small buildings where the rooms are located on 2 to 3 levels. You can catch a ride with the gold cart if you do not want to walk. The rooms were very clean and quiet. All the staff, really ALL the staff is fantastic. They are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly. There are several pools, tennis courts, pickle ball, hot tubs, a spa. Great hiking in a canyon just around the corner. The restaurant serves all the meals throughout the day and has a lovely terrasse as well. We will definitely be back again. We thought that quality and price are a great value!

This property is located near everything we need, and we have stayed here on our Tucson visits since our first stay the night of our wedding. The property is well-kept with friendly staff.

The staff were all friendly and accommodating from the front desk, the wait staff, and Nathan who helped with a lot questions during booking. We enjoyed the room, the grounds, and the restaurant immensely, and appreciated the good location. Cathy and the rest of the wait staff that we had the pleasure of being served by really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodating our 1 year old. We at breakfast there every day, and had several dinners as well. The food was all excellent. Prices are reasonable - about average for a sit down restaurant. And a lovely view from the restaurant. The room (Junior Casita) was very spacious with a nice balcony. For those traveling with kids, it is very conveniently located about 5 minutes away (by car) from a Whole Foods with a starbucks right next door for the parents. It's about 40 min. away from Saguaro NP East and about the same distance from the West park and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. Speaking of cars, there is plenty of parking, and they do not charge a fee for parking which I noticed some other area hotels do. The grounds are lovely too. The little chef's garden and butterfly garden are very cute and we appreciated the trails. There's a paved trail that goes around one side of the property which is nice for a relaxing walk. There is also a nature trail on the opposite end of the property for a short hike without having to get in the car. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that the rug in the room was a little dated and the shower head was a little old, but these are very minor concerns. I will reiterate - we loved our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We definitely felt that we got very good value for our money at this hotel.
