"Loved everything about my time here!"

8.0

Loved every moment of being in this most beautiful city in the world, and the hotel staff were very helpful and great view from my window. Breakfast is so enormous you don't need to eat anything else! Within walking distance of Mariinsky Theatre and many other sights. Wish I was still there!

"Enjoy St. Petersburg, don't stay at the Azimut."

2.0

My stay on the 11th floor began with stained, peeling carpet squares, rusty shower, and a smelly toilet. Maid service is nearly non-existent. The little TV was broken, staff said their IT person would look into it, never did though. WiFi is sporadic. "Business center" means they let you use one of their terminals on the counter at the front desk for ten minutes. Incredibly noisy, from street traffic to unsupervised kids running up and down the halls till midnight. The room temperature was a constantly over 80 degrees. I have stayed at many lower priced "rustic hotels" but they always have some nice experiences to balance out quality issues. That is not the case here. One positive is that there is a decent breakfast, and the restaurant does serve good food at decent prices.

"Just just hotel"

6.0

We were first given a room that is too small for two persons to our surprise because in the picture they look bigger. Tanya, the receptionist who can speak English very well was kind enough to give us another much bigger room but we have to pay extra. It is a big hotel with many rooms but you have to make sure they give you room in the newly renovated wing. The hotel is far from the shopping center.

"Azimut , St Petersburg"

6.0

A giant multi story hotel, a little tired in the interior but of acceptable budget standard. Friendly english speaking staff, breakfasts are good too. 10 mins away from the metro and close to the city centre. For the price, good value for money, and it is a wonderful city to visit.

It should have been noted that this hotel was the big, too big "Sovietskaia", and has not changed a lot since then. Instead of "souvenirs" the window frame should have been painted, and the bath tube have been cleadned properly.

Tiny bed, the water was the worst I have ever used. It's like washing with liquid rust. Only a tiny part of the huge panel window can be opened and the rest of the window just serves to heat the room during the room so at night you either boil or open the window for mosquitoes. Either way you can't sleep.
