Geiser Grand Hotel

Great. The wait staff was excellent. Friendly, accommodating- made us feel at home. Our evening meal was great. The staff did a great job.

The welcome was not up to the facility standards. This area needs a lot of work. I can see how this cold, unfriendly introduction to the facility would discourage repeat customers.

Awful, unhelpful, unwilling front desk and management. Big city attitude running a small town hotel. No amenities, overpriced, and every question ends with “No.” Baker City is a great town and deserves better than this. Go anywhere else to be treated better.

The location was located nicely downtown and exterior looked unique

I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel. Due to an honest mistake, my reservation dates were entered incorrectly, and I immediately tried to resolve the issue. Booking.com reached out to the hotel on my behalf to request a simple cancellation or adjustment, but the hotel refused to respond to them at all. When I spoke with the front desk, I was told there was no manager available to assist, which was incredibly disappointing. It’s hard to understand how a hotel operates without any accessible management when issues arise. On top of that, the property itself felt outdated, had an unpleasant smell, and did not appear clean. The overall vibe from staff was unwelcoming and unhelpful. Parking was also an issue, and the food was underwhelming. The most frustrating part is that I was still charged $348 for a night I didn’t even stay, and then had to pay for another hotel elsewhere. The lack of communication and basic customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.

The history of the building is great. It’s overall a total vibe. Staff incredible. Great restaurant too.

Great customer service by all staff we met. Comfortable, spacious rooms, great location. When an unfortunate allergy event happened with my wife the management, especially the night manager, did everything in their power to help.

Love the history and the food. The room was just kind of shitty because there was a home that we couldn't get rid of.

There was a concert hum that we heard in our room that was really distracting
