Express Inn & Suites San Antonio near SeaWorld - Medical Center

Hotel is in major need of repair and upgrades. I understand that this was the cheapest hotel and I guess you get what you pay for, but really there needs to be some minimum standards of what is acceptable.

Everything staff were rude

I came to San Antonio for the annual Texas State Senior Games - but I am on SS disability and have to find the cheapest hotels available - preferably under $50 a night. EconoLodge met that stipulation. Also, for that price, I like to have a refrigerator and microwave available since I bring my own food for the competition. Again, EconoLodge met that stipulation.

But, the place is a dump. The towel racks are falling off the walls. The TV didn't work at all. The wifi kept cutting out. The fire alarms went off twice - once at 2 in the morning! Drug dealers were doing business in the parking lot - thumping their hip-hop rap at 4am. The refrigerator freezer needed defrosting. A cockroach crawled out of the sink. Ghetto!!

The room was still dirty was not swept right, mirror were dirty, food in the fridge, hair in the bathtub, hair on bath towels.And was not informed about a 20.00 deposit.

The location

I got double charged. And the pricing there was no breakfast and the room service along with the bett Beding and towels We're dingy

Not a good stay for leisure time. They charge you $20 deposit fee and don’t reimburse you. It is very old, smells like cigarettes, the floor creeks. The room blankets semi clean, had stains. Dead roaches on floor. No extra towels. No complimentary supplies. No coffee maker. The location is very secluded from any lighting or stores. It feels like in the middle of nowhere. If you’re looking for a creepy stay and a cheap night and don’t mind all above. Then by all means it’s good pricing for the low. Goodluck,

You get what you pay for! Good thing was I just stayed one night. We could hear everything… I mean everything from the room next to you. And the guy at the front desk was so rude and had an attitude. This place doesn’t even deserve a ⭐️ star
