Near downtown, walking distance to everything

The furniture was old and worn out. It is not a good value given its expensive price.

Beds were comfortable. Poor service

It is centrally located and easy walk all around town

The hotel has seen better days. 4 of us arrived about 11 pm. No one to check us in. Took about 30:00 to get someone.

I walked in at midnight to check in as my flight was slightly delayed into Sitka. I walked in the reception area and found no one at the desk. There WAS someone there though, as I saw a baby stroller beside the chair at the front desk.There was also another person waiting for someone to assist them. There was a sign on the counter that read "please call for assistance, thank you -Management. When I asked the other person waiting if they called yet, they said they had and no one answered. So i tried calling 4 times. About 30mins goes by, still no one to check me in. Frustrated, i tried calling the main number in the website, not the number i was directed to call on the signage, amd someone finally answered. The man said he'd be down and sure enough, 5mins later I was checked in and ready to sleep. The rooms are old, but most of Sitka is a little dated. I also need to remember this is technically a Super 8 motel, so for that I'll give it a little bit of a pass.

We liked that it was close to everything

This was a last minute booking for a last minute trip, and I was pleasantly surprised! The room was exceptionally clean. I love that there were "real" tissues available. It was honestly about the small details. I did have a very early checkout, and the night clerk was obviously not prepared to see me, but that's ok. The location was great, everything in town was within walking distance. There was also plenty of parking for my rental vehicle. It was very quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!
