Super 8 by Wyndham Belen NM

The picture and description of the hotel and features were 180° opposite. The room safety issues, shower had mold everywhere, the tv didn’t work. The phone didn’t work. Then we had to switch rooms and it’s already late evening close to midnight if not later. Then that room the shower head was not working and wet the whole bathroom. The toilet was plugged and over flowed. We took the plunger to fix it bc they didn’t have anyone to come up. The owner didn’t offer to say anything and was complaining to us about his location not being considered as part of Albuquerque. We specifically choose there bc of appointments the next day and regret doing so. We want a full refund and a evening free at another location of our next travel to compare Super 8 motels. Oh also no breakfast which is fine no big deal. But a good clean nights rest is a MUST for us. Also we had to go to another room to take a shower in the morning where the cold and hot water indicators were reversed and for safety that was a disaster specially that it was a disabled room.

for 100.00 it was less than great.

The hotel was under construction and the pool that was advertised had rolled-up carpets inside of it.

This property was being renovated and shouldn't have even been open. We would never have stayed there if we had known. Filthy torn up carpeting was strew around the door they told us to use. Front desk was often unmanned. Our toilet broke and there was noone to fix it. My husband jerry rigged it. Terrible representation of a Super 8.

It was under construction, trash everywhere around site, room was not very dirty but did have glue container for for which have room a foul smell. No, "Do not Disturbs" sign but asked no need to enter room, no service was needed. Yet each day we were out of room someone entered. Front desk rep aside from also trying to clean and do laundry was very friendly and composed.

The tv didn't work. There wasnt a trash can in the room. The hot water and water knobs were mixed up. Not on my room but another room got double the same day and they had strangers enter their room while they're sleeping. Honestly they give Super 8 a bad name. I will not be returning to this locations for future stays.

I booked a room in Albuquerque n.m. Expedia booked it in belen. 40 miles away. We did not saty in the room. Called a while minute later to super 8 hotel. They told me they would refund call Manager in the morning. Then the manager told me they cant. I called expedia. Expedia does not want to refund either. We had to sleep in our car. With two small children.

We were passing by and stopped here for the night. They didnt have an elevator so the front desk man helped carry all of our luggage to our room upstairs. Our room floor was just remodeled and it looked very nice. Lots of good food in the area although everything closes very early. We like to take 2 showers and the housekeepers were able to exchange our towels right away. Very quiet at night and checking out was contactless. Our flight was a little bit later the next afternoon so they let us stay until 12:30 which helped a lot.

Hotel is in the middle of being remodeled. Our room had been recently remodeled & was nice. But the noise level was a bit much. Other than that, no problems. Front desk staff was very helpful!

My friends and I came here to visit another friend that lives in the city. This hotel was affordable for us. In addition, the lobby and rooms were clean and the staff gave excellent recommendations for food and places to go see. Also, the staff were very nice to talk to and were accommodating to one person in the group who is allergic to certain cleaning supplies. The building itself is old but we could see that they were working on it and improving it. If we end up coming back to Belen we would easily choose to stay there.
