We have stayed at Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach several times, we have booked elsewhere and keep returning here. The staff is friendly, the beach access is fantastic and the restaurant goes above and beyond for the guests. We went down for breakfast a few minutes before they stopped serving to switch over for lunch, Shannon immediately brought us menus and greeted us warmly and asked if we wanted breakfast. Yes, we did, of course. Shannon had already notified the kitchen that two guests just arrived and not to start the switch over for lunch. Thanks to her, we were able to order breakfast and not have to wait until lunch was being served. The kitchen staff prepared our meals and they were so delicious! Thank you, Shannon, and the kitchen staff, you made our stay even more enjoyable!

Tammi (restaurant) Shannon (Restaurant) Alphas (Cleaner) Nancy and Kian ( managers) Jaye (customer service) I canโ€™t say enough about all of themโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธWe spent a wonderful week there. I have never had such an amazing experience! They all deserve a raise as there was a wedding also and Tammi even worked a double with out break! I just had one problem with a server who made all on edge and dragged them all down with her attitude. I hate to say bad things but she was just ridiculous when one of these wonderful servers too my order but it was Stephenieโ€™s (blonde) table and she let her know it!! Since all the girls know us I just gave her my order due to the fact that she was making sure all were taken care of. Which running quite a few restaurants for many years is what you should do and give her one of her tables!! No big deal but instead she was rude to quite a few of the other servers. Very unprofessional!! I love it there and we will be back later this year! We are from Orchard Park NY. I give this place 10 Stars.

I only like the location

I booked on booking a beach front room. I got a room on the backside of the building by a trashcan where everyone throws their trash over the balcony into the can. The room smelled awful. When I spoke with the receptionist they told me that I got a partial ocean view, which made no sense because when I looked out my door, all I saw were old dead trees, very unprofessional. I will never go there again. Food was horrible. I had no choice but to stay there because I flew from San Diego to watch my daughter in a major cheer competition $1500 for a crappy room. I learned my lesson I will never do business with this company again it was horrible. I was in room 229!
