Waikiki Monarch Hotel

It’s a decent hotel and it’s very convenient. A little issue here and there but nothing major. Shout out to Ms Kana for always making our stay feel amazing. She’s very helpful and always smiling plus she’s the only staff that offer the gym pass and restaurant coupons when they had it which we was surprised about it because the other staff never offer it to us but I guess it is what it is. Her customer service is really great love this place cause of her.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. I came in and checked in after 3 days traveling. Was very tired. Asked for an upper floor room to obtain quiet and was very pleased with the room assignment. I would definitely book again with this hotel and refer to all my traveling and business friends.

The drug addicts across the street. The stench of marijuana filled the air outside the building and practically destroyed my clean fresh air. Thankfully, the a/c in the room proved very helpful and quiet.

Ngl my room was not like what's pictured. It's pretty dirty and the noisy AC unit in the window was not expected. The walls are pretty thin as well. I could hear neighbor phone conversation pretty well. It reminded me of staying in a hostel a bit. Despite all of this, the location is is really nice. It's a 7-10 minute walk to the Hawaii Convention Center and there are restaurants, food trucks, and the Waikiki Brewing Company just a few steps away. And the most wonderful part were the receptionists, Mario and Kana. They're so very nice, helpful, and welcoming with the warmest smiles. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head at night, is recommend this place. If you're looking for a more luxurious stay, I'd suggest somewhere else.
