Waikiki Monarch Hotel

By the door, cockroach kinda welcoming us then spotted 2 more in between bed in the floor. Yet, rather than this it was been supposed to be excellent. Friendly advise, to upgrade the beds into more firm & durable in the sense that both beds easily fall apart from headboards. Though, I commend the linens & towels, was one of the best set up & neat, doesn't made us uncomfortable to think we are checked in with "cockys'.

The restaurant

At night the fridge will make a weird noise and on the wall next to the a/c unit there was like a rust color Stain on the wall but they have a little restaurant in the building that was really good that was a plus and the parking please please make parking free for the people that stay at the hotel paid over 150 for parking there ridiculous

I would give this hotel 0 stars if possible. The property is extremely dirty, especially the bathroom. The floor was filthy, no slippers provided, and I even found someone else’s hair in the bathroom. During my 3-day stay, housekeeping never once cleaned or touched up my room. The staff’s attitude was unprofessional and far from what you’d expect in hospitality. When I asked for a receipt for the resort fee (which Agoda had already charged me), they charged me again. On top of that, they collect an amenity fee, yet the room had no basic amenities—no water, no body wash, no lotion, no toothbrush. The place felt unhygienic to the point that I didn’t even dare touch anything. This hotel is overpriced, ridiculous for what they deliver, and I will never stay here again.

The parking garage & the location

The room was very dirty when I we got there and there was hair everywhere

Great location right by the food trucks. Parking available at $50 per day next door. The place was dated small but clean. Great for the money just a one night lay over but won’t probably stay long term unless you want to save the money.

The pool was nice and relaxing

Second time staying at The Waikiki Monarch Hotel. The customer service provided at the front desk was great! Much Mahalos Nykky!
