I asked for a pet free area and they lied to me my room had a horrible smell the bed wasn’t comfy at all.. I heard barking dogs at 10am every morning it was the worst

The staff was super nice. It was kind of hard to get new towels and someone to clean my suite. The were renovating the first floor which look very bad for people who do not live there. Some people lived in the building and was complaining that they couldn’t get any help with moving. The elevator barely works. Breakfast is offered really early 6am-9:30am. The toilet stops up fast. The water pressure in the shower is really good. The sheets are very itchy so bring your own. It is a okay location if you cannot get a hotel anywhere else in St Louis. This is not a first choice hotel. They don’t jot purchase new towels. They have washer and dryer to keep the towels clean. The room was very nice. It just needed to be clean again. So please spray Lysol and wipe everything down. Finally, the key card is very weird. The hotel just added a machine to keep strangers out of the venue. It is a good idea but it can bad for people who need to check in at anytime of the night. I would also say make the keys more effective for usage because it should deactivate when a phone is near it. If that is the case make the key card available via app or go back to keys. Breakfast please add more vegan and non diary options.

The customer service is amazing and the hotel is at a very ideal location too. The only issue we had was that the room was a bit smelly and dark. Other than that everything else was great. The kind man at the reception told us that the reason some rooms may have a bad smell is because the facility is old and in need of renovation. They are getting a renovation next year so hopefully this hotel will become perfect after that.

The overall hotel was clean and quiet, friendly and helpful staff, typical but decent hotel breakfast. The room itself was not as wonderful. The bed was hard, not at all comfortable, and the sofa was no better. We stayed for 4 days, and we could not find a comfortable piece of furniture in the whole suite! The shower curtain liner had mildew on it. The linens/towels seemed to be very clean, though, bright white and smelled fresh.
