The hotel finds itself planted squarely in a flamboyant, pride-flag-waving neighbourhood of Reforma, a district positively fizzing with life, colour, and people-watching opportunities. Boutiques abound are abstract, intriguing, and often baffling. Yet, as the sun dips and Saturday evening stretches its limbs, the neighbouring clubs awaken with all the subtlety of a malfunctioning stereo. The bass does not merely hum; it installs itself in your room as an unsolicited feature, a kind of rhythmic lodger that refuses to be ignored. Sleep, one discovers, becomes less an activity and more a negotiation. Breakfast, meanwhile, is a grand and sprawling affair, lavish in quantity, almost heroic in its ambition. There is, quite literally, more food than one could reasonably contemplate. And yet, in a feat of culinary paradox, it remains oddly difficult to locate something one truly desires to eat. Service begins with all the polish and charm one might expect, attentive, warm, and reassuringly efficient. However, should misfortune strike (in this case, in the form of a persistent drip-drip-drip from the bathroom above), the experience takes on a more theatrical tone. Enter the engineers: arriving in clusters of three to five like a mildly disorganised troupe, conversing loudly, occasionally pausing to enjoy movie trailers on their phones. Regrettably, their enthusiasm for cinema outpaces their enthusiasm for plumbing. The leak, I was told, is due to “rain”- a meteorological phenomena given the rain arrived after the leak. After the third such performance, one is compelled to abandon patience in favour of decisive action, prompting a brisk and not entirely diplomatic exchange with the front desk, which at last results in a room change. In sum: a superb location, undeniably vibrant, yet paired with an experience that veers, at times, into the faintly absurd. A hotel of contrasts, pleasant and just a touch chaotic.

Comfortable room, excellent shower, huge and delicious breakfast buffet. Helpful staff, Grecia and Braulio were wonderful.

La ubicación es ideal para caminar y conocer la ciudad. La cercanía con transporte y el pasaje de los artesanos qué queda cerca lo hacen ideal.

La habitación muy buena, solo la ducha deja escapar mucha agua a los pisos, pero el personal de aseo lo atendía en las mañanas.
