I really can't say enough about the folks at Amsterdam manor. The staff is amazing. Room is perfect with a kitchen , comfy bed, table and chairs, couch etc. we were totally comfortable. Staff worth mentioning. Patrick and Billy at the hotel. Jose and Stephany at the Passions bar and Everly. Lots of friendly people whose names I wish I could remember and shout out! We will return to Aruba and stay here again. And as for the "smell". Barely noticed it over the course of the week and it certainly was not as we have seen described!
Perfect boutique hotel at Eagle Beach! Would only stay here in the future. If you want a slightly quirky hotel as opposed to a mega resort, this is the place. Easy access to Eagle Beach with hotel umbrellas and chairs available. Friendly and attentive staff. Room was magnificent. Highly recommend.

It's hard to find a hotel in Aruba that can comfortably accommodate five, but Amsterdam Manor did just that for our family (2 adults, 3 teen/tween kids). We stayed 6 nights in March for spring break. Loved the location, the on-site restaurant, and the suite/condo we rented: it was spacious and clean, light and bright. The only downside was that the hot water in one of the showers wasn't very reliable, but we made do with the other shower and it was NOT a big deal. I know everyone talks about the possibility of a sewage smell -- we never ever smelled it in our room or on our balcony. Sometimes you'd get a whiff in the parking lot or on Eagle Beach, but we never smelled it at the resort's restaurant or, really, anywhere for more than a moment or two. It was not a big deal and we'd definitely stay here again. Housekeeping service was daily and they did a wonderful job. The kitchenette has all the basics for easy meals/snacks and includes a stovetop, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster, and electric kettle. Amsterdam Manor is in a prime location if you want to be able to access a grocery store -- Super Food, which is enormous, is a 5-minute walk away. Also, pop over to the resort next door -- they have a great smoothie/acai bowl restaurant!

El personal no es tan amable como se leí en otros comentarios. Los del Front Desk no fueron capas de otorgarnos ni siquiera 30 minutos de salida tarde, bloquen la llave de la puerta a la hora exacta. El olor que se siente fuera de la habitación es terrible y muchas veces llega hasta la playa, para nosotros fue traumático descubrir esto el primer día que salimos de la habitación

We were recommended Amsterdam Manor by friends and it completely exceeded our expectations—we had an incredible week. The room was perfect. We had a little patio area to overlook the beach. The cleaning staff was impeccable and the room was very clean and no complaints at all. The location is unbeatable, the atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful, and every single staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and truly wonderful. We especially loved the teams at Horizons and Passions—dining on the beach at sunset was unforgettable. The food deserves a special mention. Coming from a family of foodies in the NYC area, we were so impressed—everything from breakfast to Horizons to sushi night was consistently excellent. Easily some of the best food we’ve had in Aruba. We are already looking forward to returning. The only minor note was an occasional odor from a nearby treatment plant early in the week, but it noticeably improved and did not impact our overall experience. It’s clearly being addressed and would not stop us from coming back. Highly, highly recommend.
10/10 great experience. The resort is located literally right across from the most beautiful beach in the world(Eagle Beach). The rooms were great size, very well kept and clean. The restaurant on the property called Horizons was delicious and the waitress Ayline was wonderful. All the staff were very accommodating. I stayed her for my 30th birthday and the staff made a point to deliver champagne to my room. Can’t stay enough how great our experience was
