Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort

We couldn’t be happier with our choice of Amsterdam Manor on our first trip to Aruba! We were welcomed with a rum cocktail and our bags were carried to our room. That set the tone for a wonderful week- staff were fantastic, restaurants were enjoyed for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Our room was immaculately maintained and bed was comfortable. The beach is conveniently located across the street and so well maintained. We loved that lounge chairs and beach towels were provided to enjoy the amazing blue water.

We spent 8 days at the Amsterdam manor beach resort and loved it. They are located right on eagle beach which is the most beautiful of the beaches. They beach chairs and umbrellas are included and we went to the beach at about 7 am to get a palapa. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the refrig and cooking things. Superfoods is very close and has everything we needed for a quick breakfast and occasional lunch. We also liked that the public bus stopped right in front and it was just a short ride to downtown and Palm beach. The resort is quiet and the staff was attentive to every detail. The front desk, pool and beach attendants, housekeeping and the staff at the restaurants were friendly. We hope to return again!

Perfect location for a quiet and relaxing vacation! We have been coming to Aruba for 7 years, but this was our first stay at Amsterdam Manor. We had a superior studio that was spacious and included everything we needed (even a cooktop stove that we didn't need/use). We had a gorgeous view of the ocean from our balcony. A Super Foods store was a quick walk away, so we didn't have to pay the exorbitant prices found in most mini markets. For the first time in 7 years, we were able to use the beach in front of the resort. There was a nice breeze (not at the beach north of here where we usually stay), and the resort provided a shady palapa and beach chairs every day. There is a small Dutch restaurant with a great breakfast deal behind the resort (we ate there several days). We are already looking forward to returning to Amsterdam Manor next year!!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Amsterdam Manor. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our trip, providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat on the island. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed (cooktop, mini fridge, microwave, spacious bathroom). And you can’t beat the location - steps away from the beach! The staff on the beach quickly helped us find lounge chairs (chairs free of charge for Amsterdam Manor guests!). There are also tons of restaurants within walking distance and a grocery store nearby.

Words cannot adequately convey the experience we had at Amsterdam Manor. Even the photos don't do it justice. If you travel to Aruba, you need to stay here! It's not only the best beach on the island, but it's the best property. The entire team from housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, pool attendant, bartender, restaurant servers, beach front staff etc., were friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a king suite. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. They are impeccably clean! The beds and pillows were SO comfortable! Amsterdam Manor is a gem! We also rented a car, which is a must if you want to tour the island. It's very easy to navigate anywhere you want to go, and the manor has ample parking right outside your back door! Yep! Two doors - back door to parking area and front slider with ocean view and pool. We rebooked for next year before we left and will be coming back every year! It's just that wonderful!

I'll make this plain and simple the room was beautiful, it is quite boring there but you have a beautiful beach in front of you. The bar at Passions needs help ,ervice is all over the place nobody knew what they're doing .The staff gave me balsamic vinegar for maple syrup, just an example ,also no straws for frozen drinks. When you spend that much money to stay in a room I expected better detailed service and the food was just mediocre. The chicken wings were small ,no sauce ,no flavor and I think we got seven of them. The last thing is the sewer smell that periodically went through the air throughout the day would make me not go back.

Great location (Eagle Beach) and a great hotel. Passions on The Beach is very good for evening meals. Horizons Bar is excellent ... Lethal makes it special

Great value. The rooms are clean, comfortable. You can beat its location across the street from its own beach. We ate lunch many times at Passions, and had two delicious meals at Passions on the Beach. The staff may have been the best part of the experience. They were always friendly and helpful. When we had to return late at night due to a cancelled flight, they not only found us a room, but had a fun balloon bouquet waiting for us! We would highly recommend a stay at Amsterdam Manor Resort.

Great location, the hotel is very clean, rooms have been recently upgraded and they have everything needed for a great stay. The hotel is great, well managed and well run. The pool is very tiny, very shallow and needs some repairs (chipped tiles, rust stains, etc). The major problem with staying at The Amsterdam is the raw sewage smell that comes from somewhere close by. This of course is not within the control of the hotel - but on occasion the smell is quite strong and nasty. You get the same smell at the beach directly across from the hotel (where the free lounge chairs for Amsterdam guests are).
