Orlando Marriott Lake Mary

My experience at the Marriott was excellent! I want to give a huge shoutout to Jay Balanay for his outstanding hospitality. He was the bellman at the front and truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. What really stood out was that he remembered my name when I left the next day—that personal touch felt incredibly genuine. Jay is a true asset to this hotel and absolutely deserves recognition (and a raise!) for the exceptional service he provides.

We did a day stay because our flight was delayed. Checked in at 11 AM and out that evening. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Jay Balanay the Bell Captain was particularly kind, helpful and funny. The room was clean and had a large mirror which we girls always like. The pool looked beautiful, but because it happened to be a very chilly day we were unable to use it.

The room was dirty. Had to ask front desk to send housekeeping to our room. The glasses had something in the bottom of them so we couldn't use. Feet were black after walking on floor. Bell captain, Jay Balanay was the best! This is our 4th year going to this conference and always look forward to seeing Jay!

KUDOS to the staff starting with Chef Mance Cason, Jay Balanay and Paul Lee, Nasser and the whole front desk staff under the leadership of General Manager Kurt Wiksten. The room is super clean and the beds are quite warm. I really enjoy the hospitality I received since I got here in the morning greeted by Jay. Thanks for catering to our annual DAV Service Officer School and Mid Winter Convention. We are Veterans that are treated like family.
