Orlando Marriott Lake Mary

What A disappointment. Stayed Thursday through Saturday, Will not return. Gold member with Marriott, stayed here a year ago, hotel was much better then. 1 person at desk, NUMEROUS guests trying to check in, waited over 20 minutes. Hotel has become like days Inn. No amenities for Bonvoy members, no customer service, many rude staff members. Every staff member I encountered complained about the new management saying many employees left after the new management company took over including front desk manager who was there over 20 years, Head of HR. Marriott corporate should take a HARD look at this rude hotel.

I have been going to this Marriott 3 times a year for about 20 years. The personnel here have always been fantastic and I always wrote a tremendous review (frequently called the GM after my stay to applaud certain employees) complementing particular employees. NOT THIS time! New CHEAP, chirp, chirp management company has erased most of the competent associates. NO bottled water! Not even in the concierge lounge! Refrigerators in lounge have 2 or 3 cans of soda. Want water? they offer tap water! Half-wit, two-bit, arcade management is scraping the floor mop for trickles of water to squeeze money from guests. They add a $3 fee after checkout calling it a county fee. Tried getting a print out of my receipt when I checked out. Was told "All our printers are down!"

Joshwaun (Front desk) was absolutely stellar. Went well above and beyond to help out my daughter and myself. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. (Except on Sunday in which a whole bunch of teenagers were running around the hotel…but that’s due to sh*tty parents and no fault of the hotel).

Very pleasant stay and beautiful area. Joshwaun at the front desk was amazing and very helpful answering all questions. Would stay here again.

Hotel was convenient location

Heat in room did not work. Room was extremely cold, One of the drapes was not working, one of the lights was not working in the room, Ice maker was not working, and all the hallways were very cold.

Very nice and personable staff, will definitely go back ! Dinning was good too. Very clean and comfortable room. Hallway was a little cold.

The representative Dari DelaCruz was amazing! I mistakenly booked the wrong night for a wedding I was attending in the area. I was so concerned that I wasn't going to be accommodated. Dari happily fixed my error! She was exceptional!

Every time my family and I stay here, we feel so blessed to be greeted every morning by the authentic Bell-Captain Jay Balanay. He goes above and beyond with such kindness, joy, and genuine care. He is so personal and friendly, he even remembers us by name every visit and always makes sure we’re well taken care of. He truly has a servant’s heart. His smile and contagious joy makes us feel right at home. We’re so grateful for him and the way he represents biblical hospitality. GOD bless you for being a shining light for you’re one of the reasons we keep coming back!
