Orlando Marriott Lake Mary

Tried 330 check in, put on wait list as rooms weren’t ready. Lady in front of me was complaining of similar delay and torn sheets in the bed last time she was there. My family found a great room, but torn sheets in the bed and ants in the bathroom overnight 4th floor). Coming back from dinner at 8pm and found a raccoon going thru the parking lot garbage can - cute, or terrifying, depending on your view. Great location for SFB, but glad we only stayed 1 night. Very disappointed in this particular hotel.

Stayed here because our flight was canceled. Great stay, even better Bell Captain! Jay Balanay was great. Made our day even after an unfortunate flight cancellation.

I would like to give a shout out to Jay Balanay. He met us at the airport to shuttle us back to the hotel and he was fantastic. He was kind and friendly. We had a lovely conversation to the hotel and it started our trip off on a perfect note.

I am very pleased with the service provided at the Marriott Hotel. The facility looks beautiful and it’s very clean. Jay Balanay, a Bell Captain, helped my mother and was very knowledgeable.

No running water for 2 of 4 nights . Not very clean room . doesn’t seem like Marriott brand standards

This property does not align with the Marriott brand it represents. The most critical failure was the complete loss of water service for multiple days, not a brief disruption—full days without hot or at times any running water at all. For a hotel of this size and claimed standard, this is unacceptable. Communication around the issue was minimal, leaving guests to wonder whether this was a known recurring problem rather than an isolated incident. A hotel stay can withstand dated decor or modest rooms, but it cannot function without something as fundamental as water. The building, rooms, and guest areas show clear signs of age, and while the accommodations were technically usable, they felt positioned well below their advertised tier. Cleanliness was inconsistent. To be fair, a portion of the staff made genuine efforts to be helpful and courteous, but others were dismissive or unprofessional. Unfortunately, the willingness of a few cannot counterbalance the failure of essential services. When a hotel cannot provide water—arguably one of the most basic requirement of hospitality—it cannot meet expectations, regardless of brand name. Guests would be better served reserving a different hotel until this property can reliably operate without prolonged infrastructure outages.

Great location. Clean facility. Nice staff. Super comfortable bed!
