Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage

Let me start by stating that the accommodations were very good, and that obviously counts for something. But the communication suffered. We arrived at the airport near midnight and were relying heavily on the shuttle that was included with the high price of our room. When we called to request that shuttle, we were told to wait at one place, while the shuttle actually picked up at another. Because of that gaffe, we ultimately ended up waiting an hour. We could have paid for an Uber ride, but we believed the benefit of our bargain included a timely shuttle ride, which had ben advertised. On top of that, we asked for a late check out—it was 2:00 AM when we finally checked in—but we were denied, despite our hour of delay because of the shuttle. As it turned out, according to my hotel app, the checkout time was actually an hour later than the clerk told us anyway! This isn’t a frequent spot for us, but if we return, we’ll definitely consider another hotel.

Room was big and clean,warm and all we need it was there, coffe, water,tea, we did not wake up for breakfast but you still can buy a chicken salat. The shuttle bus was great. We like it.

Resting in the room around 3pm,had the Do Not Disturb on the door. No knock the maid just used her key to enter. Scared me

Location to downtown and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Easy to get to and back to airport. Easy to navigate; rooms are very spacious. Shuttle driver was very nice too.

The smell of my room. I had to open my window to try to clear it out. Too over powering.

Front Desk Clerk Faafou did an excellent job and responded immediately to removing four full containers of CBD Gummies on the third floor this evening, 5/22/26. The gummies were reported by another guest. Clerk Faafou is friendly, kind, caring and considerate!
