InTown Suites Extended Stay New Orleans LA - Metairie

The staff stated that they would only give one set of towels for the entire duration of the stay. I stayed for seven days. Hence, I had to wash the towels by myself, and what made it worse was that the washing machine was broken. I had to find a laundromat that was close to me to wash the towel's towel. If the toilet paper ran out, I had to buy it myself. The management office is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. only. Even if you call the number, no one picks it up. When I went to the office during their office hours, the staff member behind the counter saw me coming, and she continued her conversation on her personal phone without acknowledging me. She went into another room and continued the conversation with whomever she was having the conversation with. I waited more than 5 minutes to get her attention to my request. They should be trained there and have a sense of good customer service. Overall, I was not satisfied with their service. However, one staff member who was courteous was the person who worked on Friday, 6/7/2024. She was respectful and went out of her way to even get me an iron box. I wish I knew her name.

Bed and bathroom are very clean. Rooms are a bit beaten. Staff is very nice. Otherwise a comfortable stay.

They said I had no reservation and refused to look at my screenshot and confirmation email. They had called me 2x the previous day (I missed the calls). So how did they even have my number if I didn't exist in their system? This ain't rocket science. I showed them their calls on my phone, they denied it was their number even though it was right on their sign on their main door. So I dialed it, heard it ring about 20x in the back room but they wouldn't pick up. Expedia tried calling, same result they wouldn't pick up so even Expedia was blocked from trying to help me. They are outright liars and because this is Mardi Gras week some latecomer probably got my confirmed room at an inflated price. Stay anywhere else!

The hotel was dirty and had roaches and fruit flies. Also had issues with the plumbing toilet.
