Paul Nygren the manager was fantastic! He was extremely helpful, friendly, and consummately professional. My friend and I have not experienced such excellent customer service at a hotel in many years. The whole hotel was warm and inviting and was cozy but elegant. Our room was spacious but cozy, with all appointments being clean and in perfect working order. The floor heaters in the bathroom were a welcome addition, as were the fireplace and comfortable side chairs. The room was very quiet, as we did not hear any of our adjoining neighbors. We made good use of the robes and lovely glass carafes of water, with spotless drinkware. The Keurig worked great, and we enjoyed tea and hot chocolate that was provided. The continental breakfast had everything we could want, from fresh waffles to house-made blueberry muesli to egg sandwiches and fruit. All the staff members we interacted with were pleasant, helpful and professional. I have already recommended this hotel to several friends, and we would absolutely stay here again!

The Austria Haus is our favorite place to stay in Vail. The location is perfect, and the staff is extremely friendly. Paul, the resident manager, goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The lobby has a very nice and cozy feel and is excellent for a family game night in front of the fire.

One of the best kept secrets in Vail for having a small intimate guest experience. The friendly staff makes an effort to know the guest and the location in the middle of Vail Village offer unlimited options all in walking distance. Daily breakfast are served in a quiet setting with a request to not use cell phones in the dinning area for the benefit of all.

Perfect location.

This luxury accommodation delivered a truly memorable stay. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the entire property felt impeccably clean and thoughtfully maintained. Each morning began with an impressive breakfast spread—fresh, flavorful, and far better than the typical hotel offering. The location couldn’t have been more convenient, just a short stroll to Vail Village and the ski lift, making it effortless to get anywhere you wanted to go. Overall, it was a seamless and relaxing experience. The only drawback was the parking, which felt a bit over the top, but everything else easily outshined that minor inconvenience.

I travel extensively for business. I happened to have a client in Vail Village and chose Austria Haus for its proximity. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the accommodations this hotel offers. The cleanliness and amenities were outstanding. The hospitality of every single staff member I interacted with was incredible. I will definitely be back.
