Staff at Hotel are very, very rude. We paid for early check in. Yes it’s extra to check in early at 11.. was told that wasn’t gonna happened 11 after I drove 4 hours to get here. I’ve been sitting here since 11 a have watched about 5 people check in, but our room isn’t ready. I will try and call corporate.

"I planned on coming back but changed my mind."

I hadn't been to Hollywood Casino in many years, favoring Island View and Beau Rivage. I received an offer in the mail for a $50 food credit and $40 free play for the month of November, so I did go. I thought the buffet was only fair, but I did enjoy some of the machines, so I planned to return. They sent the same offer for December, so I went back two or three times in December, losing quite a bit of money. I understand that it's just the nature of casinos, so I fully intended on going back again. I planned a trip for Jan. 8 but found out that they decreased my offers to $10 food credit and $10 free play. The buffet was not very good at all the last time I had been there, so I wasn't concerned about eating, but I'm not going to travel from Louisiana to Hollywood Casino for $10 free play. After playing and losing hundreds there, it is insulting to send me a $10 offer. I cancelled my trip there and don't plan on going back. Their philosophy about offering free play based on what you did three months ago is CRAZY, and it is just as nonsensical to decrease someone's offers who started coming back and lost hundreds recently. In addition, the buffet has really gone downhill. All the meats (except for the brisket) are low quality, tough, and rubbery. The crabs were undercooked and fishy tasting. Their desserts used to be the best, but even the pecan pie is pitiful now. There are almost no pecans to be found. The red velvet cake was all icing, and it's not very good icing. The salad bar is good, but I'm not paying $50 for a salad. Sweet potatoes are great. Lastly, their website design and functionality are awful. And after trying unsuccessfully to create an account, I was finally told by a chat agent that the first digit, which looks exactly like a number one on the card, is actually an "I." How frustrating. I was looking forward to going back this month because the machines are decent, but they can keep their $10 offer, and I'll keep my $600 cash.

"Don’t bother with PENn app"

Get this. They offer a mobile App. Supposed to give you $10, a free game play, if you sign up for the wallet you get additional $25 and $15 if you connect Bluetooth to a game. We tried over and over snd over. Getting the app was no problem. But getting the benefits - impossible. Even the clerks at the penn perks counter couldn’t do it. Every time we tried to get connected with wallet it errored And finally s message say they are still working on it. HUGE waste of time, energy, mood…!!! Yhe App is also set up in s very convoluted and difficult way to try to navigate.

"Fun times"

We didn't stay the night , but we gambled for awhile. I enjoy this casino . My husband loves the Bible craps machine. I love buffalo.

Hollywood casino has gone down in my opinion . Some of the people they hire have no customer service experience. The buffet is awful. Waffle house has better food.

The only thing that wasn’t to my liking was pillows too soft. Bed was nice. HVAC for room was great, kept temps within 1 degree up/down. I’ve stayed in hotels for business, over 1,000 nights worldwide, … this was the BEST!
